WMX and Weapon Mod Menu. I lose several weapon mods?

I've been running WMX for some time now. It's become essential for me. For my current character I added The Weapon Mod Menu as well which works great. Even more than the ability to remove mods, I like how I can actually see which mods I should be shopping for or crafting by name. That's the only quibble I had with WMX... it adds a lot of mods but you have to refer to the readme sometimes to see what's available.
So here's the thing: You can only install up to three mods. That seems to be a hard coded rule. WMX gave you more than three choices for some weapons meaning different combo's are possible. TWMM only lists three possibilities, though. This means that several WMX options are just not listed and thus can't be added. What's up here? Anybody know a way around this? I have TWMM loading before WMX if that makes any difference but I didn't think that would matter with a script-based mod?
