Mr. Sub, Wendy's, KFC, Taco Bell, McDonald's.

Some of these places people are mentioning I have not even heard of. o_o

Am I the only one who doesn't like subway?

The amount of meat they put on those things is so small, and their shredded lettuce is just nasty.

Bojangles! If you haven't heard of it, thats because its South-Eastern restaurant chain.

And there is Jersey Mike's.

Oh! And Five Guys! Best. Burgers. Ever..... and fries.

and Arby's. Philly Beef. And they have the best sauce.

or I pick up a Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell when I got the lunch munchies.

The place I go mostly is a friterie called Speedy 2 streets away from school :P I love the Speedy Burger or the frites special :D

Forget about McDonalds' frites, real Belgian fries are the real deal :celebration: (and don't you dare calling strips of deep-fried potatoe French...)

Agreed, I was annoyed when the local Subway stopped with their meatballs, though :(

Way to let the stereotype down Subway. (Maybe they couldn't compete against the superior local fare.)

We used to go to Subway every now and then but since we tried out the sub shop at our grocery store we haven't gone back. The only other fast food we do is McDonald's on the way up to and back from my folks, which means we go there 4-6 times a year. I prefer Wendy's to McDonald's but we go there even less often.

Five Guys is nice but it pushes the boundaries of "fast" food. The only Five Guys I've been also plays their music way too loud which has damped my opinion of them.

Reading this thread makes me sort of jealous of the variety you Americans have in your fast food outlets but a little relieved at the same time. I think I'd weigh a little bit more with all of that temptation... :violin:

Didn't eat fast food at all for a good number of years. I've since then acquired a love for Wendys, as long as I get it at the right time of day. The only two near me svck late at night, like most fast food joints past dark. KFC is hit or miss, but the one closest to me is pretty damn good. However, I went to one a little further from me, on my way to the mall, and it was surprisingly better. The biscuits were deliciously moist in the middle and delicious crusty around the edges, without getting "dusty". When I drove a cab, I'd hit McDonalds or Burger King pretty regularly. Can't quite stop and fix a healthy meal when you're driving around for twelve hours straight every day. You can't drive and eat a salad, but you can drive and eat a burger. :P

Many fast food chains in the US don't cover the entire country so we don't have access to all of these places all at once :)

Well, we have all of the major ones, Subway, BK's, McDonalds and KFC. Then we basically have 5-6 greasy, crappy kebab and pizza places per town across the entire country, the kind people only venture into when extremely drunk.

Although, it does seem to be an American thing to serve mash potato and gravy as a side with some fast food, you'd never find that over here.

We only have KFC, BK and Macdonalds in the UK. I like all of them. Although the chips and Desserts are definitely best at Macdonalds. I don't feel quite so guilty and unhealthy after KFC....

Eh depending on my craving, almost any fast food suits me. But I'm a picky eater too. Out of them all Taco Bell is my favorite at the moment, for fries it's Burger King. Other than that I don't really eat fast food much, though I do get a sub from Subway once a month or so for lunch. Oh wait, Long John Silvers is actually my favorite..I'm a fan of chicken. I don't really like fast food burgers much, and rather have from the grill at home burgers. So I usually get chicken from most places.

Raising Canes is by far my favorite fast food place, thankfully the only one in Colorado is in the town I live in.

Fort Collins as well? And I have to agree. Raising Canes is my favorite fast food place, but in a literal sense, there are plenty of local places that are fast and I like much better. Like Big Al's Burgers and Dogs, for example.

Chick-fil-A hands down for me. Best quality I've seen in a fast food place. Not to mention the chicken is actually chicken :P

Yes I HAVE eaten a lot of fast food. No I DONT eat it every day! I can't even seem to break 135 pounds and I am 19. Maybe I should eat more fast food...

When it comes to burgers, I don't really have a preference. I don't like McDonalds though.

My favorite chicken place is Bojangles, because KFC is too bland and Popeyes is too spicy.

My favorite all around is probably Taco Bell.

...or we're not going for chains - then I would have a very special little burger diner no twenty minutes from here.

Oh everybody must have a little place like that.
http://www.roadfood.com/Restaurant/Overview/1540/krazy-jims-blimpy-burger is 20 minutes from here. Behold and drool.
Your taste buds'll slap you silly!
I would only hope that you have a place this good. Not exactly fast, but not exactly slow either. This is how some Americans like to eat, namely Michigan Wolverines Football fans; and the players I'm sure...( 'Murican football that is....not the black and white round one.)
