wolli's weather (mod)

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 1:36 pm

this WAS just for me.. ignore my crappy english.

This is a personal mod i created. I was never "happy" with the weather in the game -mainly the bitter coast- so i opened the CS
and started hacking apart the Regions weather settings XD.
i ALWAYS use this mod now, so i thought somebody else might like to use it.. so i'm releasing it.. so if you're reading this "hey!"

Here's a chart to show the changes i've made to the weathers setting's of each region. -new on the left, old on the right-

--------ascadian isles:
Clear: 35\45
Cloudy: 35\45
Rain: 15\5
Thunder: 15\5
--------Ashlands:
Cloudy: 20\25
Foggy: 5\10
Overcast:20\25
Thunder: 15\0
--------Bitter Coast:
Clear: 8\10
Cloudy: 20\60
Foggy: 20\10
Rain: 30\10
Thunder: 22\10
--------Grazelands:
Clear: 25\30
Cloudy: 30\40
Rain: 20\10
Thunder: 15\10
--------Sheogorad:
Cloudy: 20\40
Foggy 15\10
Overcast 10\15
Rain: 15\20
Thunder 15\10
Snow: 10\0
--------West Gash:
Clear: 20\15
Cloudy: 25\30
Overcast:10\20
Snow: 10\0

--------------------------+
BLOODMOON REGIONS: |
--------------------------+
I didn't do these "as much", but they've still had some changes.

--------Falsaad Coast:
Clear: 15\30
Foggy: 10\15
Overcast:10\15
Thunder: 10\0
snow: 35\20
--------Hirstaang Forest:
Cloudy: 30\40
Overcast:25\40
Snow: 20\0
Blizzard: 5\0
--------Moesring Mountians:
Overcast:10\20
Thunder: 10\0
--------------------------

it's CLEAN, i dont know of any conflicts (swg's skies??) but anything that does what this does will conflict.

wolli.

Cool. Gonna try it out. How about uploading the mod?

Also, why do you have a link to glassboy's creatures in your description?

I'm eager to try this one out. I have never been really satisfied with the weather consistency (outside of Firemoth) but was too lazy to balance them all myself. So THANKS!

edit: haha...went to download but it's just a .txt file

I'm eager to try this with Rain.esp, Snowflakes.esp, and MCP's collision patch/ini tweak. I'll let you know how they all look together.
