so players can unlock everything offline and use it in multiplayer?
I have some doubts about this. Assuming there weill be plenty guns/ attachments, different ranks/ unlocks it seems to be quite unfair that someone can get all of this against bots, when ppl not knowing that will have to face them with basic weapons.
What makes it "unfair?" Just because one person played against real people makes him "better?" The devs have said countless times, to play how you like. They don't want the game to get in the way of your fun - they even anticipate players farming xp, and they say "go for it." You know what sounds unfair to me? A player who can only advance his player and unlock things if they play vs real people. The important thing to remember is that SD is not approaching unlocks like COD does, where there are like a handful of actual good weapons, and using anything less puts you at a disadvantage. There is no "best" gun, just "different."
Also, the guns/attachments are unlocked through a completely separate mode called "challenges." These are entire scripted scenarios that can be played solo or co-op. They have 3 separate difficulty levels, and beating each one will yield more unlocks. In other words, to even get the unlocks for weapons (and perhaps weapons themselves) you don't even play online.
