I wonder if they are going to release Daggerfall as a free d

Well, at least it was in appropriate places, at least. Dancers in temples, prosttutes in tavernrooms, etc.

Naked nymphs, too. nvde prudes, what are you going to do. Werewolves weren't wearing tops, either. Or bottoms. I guess their shag hides their equipment to everyone's satisfaction. But heaven forfend you see a boob or something, you might be damned for all eternity. Or what's even worse, http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/117.html.

As for gore, there is plenty of gore in OB. Plenty. Don't recall that there was much in MW (although Tribunal had a bit in Sotha Sil's tower).

morrowind only had gore when you hit a person, a little spray of blood, not like OB where the blood flies to the ground, in MW the blood just dissapears into the air...

...i would talk about daggerfall but it runs so slow on my pc, it's not even funny how my pc cant run a DOS game through DOSBox without lag

....except for flight simulater 5...i can play that game....
...and arena only lags when theres a tree?!?

daggerfall nudity included nymphs, lamias, harpies, seducers, art, as well as the nvdes in the temples, taverns, covens, & castles. i remember the child safety didn't censor nudity too well, as i remember my 14 yr old cousin at the time walking into an akatosh temple and was greeted with a topless temple dancer right at the door jiggling around...

it was funny at the time, as i was 17, and my cousin wasn't exposed at all to nudity, much less girls, and it was a shock to him. however, i can see how this would upset some people, even with the game rated M. probably because of my example, haha.

morrowind didn't have any 'gore', unless you count corprus & bonewalkers. nor is there much of any sixuality outside of texts. otherwise, it's a fairly clean game. even necro dens were kept well, which one can accept due to the setting or discount it due to the T rating.

excess six & gore rarely are the selling point of great games. it's a novelty that adds little in the scope of things.

While I think the nudity was probably overdone in Daggerfall, I'd say it added to the overall experience, rather than take away. Morrowind and Oblivion seemed rather bland by comparison, although I was happy to see some rather gory scenes in Oblivion.

Gore and nudity certainly do not have a place in every game, but when the subject matter revolves around slashing monsters with swords and axes, I would like to see blood and dismemberment. Otherwise, the experience feels watered-down, like I'm playing a mom-friendly adventure game for teenagers.

What?!? You did not get that feeling from Oblivion?

Nudity I think really has a intergral aspect in TES, it just seemed to fit in the world, these games that seem to attempt to create a realistic medieval world, but doesn't have the more 'advlt' aspects just remove so much depth from the games. I am not saying that they should all be 'six games' and 'b00bz' but to ignore it fully is just silly. The Witcher does it supposively quite well (only played a little of the demo). The current fear of the ESRB rating is ruining my fun, boo hoo! :P

Oh, I most certainly did. I liked Oblivion more than a lot of people did, but it definitely felt teen-friendly.

It's probably obvious since this is basically the only forum I frequent on this site, but in my mind the Elder Scrolls have not felt the same since pre-Morrowind.

Weird how unrealistic nudity, let alone realistic/real nudity, would bother someone...
