LR wont be released this month

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 9:18 pm

We literally have no idea what's going on and honestly,it's extremely easy for them to pass the buck. Everything was hunky dory two days ago, and suddenly it's not. I'm getting sick of being in the dark about this. But hey, at least I'm not as bad as the commentors over on the Fallout Wikia. They're calling for literal blood and his resignation over there.

I really hope you don't have a profession in Law, accusing people of things and punishing them before you have evidence.

And you're right. Just because the Fallout wikia is acting worse than you totally excuses how you're acting. All thieves are hereby excused for not being as bad as armed burglars.

Heh, I did expect this to happen. You guys...

Both Old World Blues and Honest Hearts were great, so I am waiting this last dlc so much...

Sorry, lets get back on topic...

So, how do you guys feels about LR being delayed?

I, personally, don't mind because its going to be football season.

I'm accepting of the situation, contrary to board belief, this isn't the end of the world. Jason Bergman said that it was out of Bethesda and Obsidian's hands and I have no logical choice but to believe them, so I'll just wait patiently.

I can see this thread being shut down by none other than "Rohugh the moderator"

I missed Rohugh, he's my big furry homeslice.

Ah yes, I enjoy a video game, so obviously I MUST stay inside 24/7. Apparently I don't work or have an outside social life, like every other stereotype.

Do you realise how ridiculous you sound? You're not going to die just because some DLC didn't come out on time. The world isn't going to end. If you weren't a shut in, surely you'd have something to distract you from silly things like this. Seriously...

I am definitely going to slit my wrists now.

Or I might as well wait patiently. Postponing a release usually means the results is better.

OWB?!?!?!?!? That release wasn't amazing, and it was delayed too. Besides bergman said it wasnt a technical issue, clearly company ownership BS. "If we dont make at least $10 mil profit, we wont be able to afford our high end lifestyle garbage." - typical bethesda/obsidian/microsoft/steam crap from their higher up members effing profit projection [censored]

I have an answer, but there's no way I'm tempting fate again by answering that question. The skies would open up and some horrible disaster would befall someone to prevent it from coming true.

It all makes sense now.

The disaster in the Divide was caused by jason trying to give us an approximate release date ahead of time.

But wait, Jersey Shore has already befallen humanity. What could possibly be worse? :cold:

But they have no reason to lie. Jason Bergman was rigidly confident it'd be released, this is showing that Bethesda was straight pressed for soon releasal of Lonesome Road this month. And Jason isnt that high on the Bethesda food chain, he's pretty much PR to the gamers. So him being resigned wouldnt change anything. People need to just chill the bloody hell down and try to behave as advlts, not 12 year olds who cant go out past curfew.

I beg your pardon sir, but I most certainly am not, "PR to the gamers." I have absolutely no formal role in marketing or PR here at Bethesda. I post to these forums because I want to, and because I like talking to the fans.

Playing it safe, I see.
Wouldn't it be awesome if it were released on Sept. 1st, just to shut people up?

..And because if he didnt, no one would buy obsidian/bethesda games due to lack of PR..................

Lolno, everyone knows it's all about DeathclawDestroyer and his light switches.
In other news,

I DON'T HAVE ANY OF THE DLC AND IT HASN'T KILLED ME! HATERS GONNA HATE!

With all due respect, I don't need PR to decide to buy a game. Jason Bergman isn't some shill, and I, for one, appreciate the fact that he posts here.

I know there will always be a game market because the nerds need their food. It would be a larger audience though
hey, im not angry with Bergman, just the rest of the company he represents. Both beth and obsidian need a lot of work
