I guess this is a continuation of my "possessed computer" thing, My character was at Dustman's Cairn when a dragon assault started. A minute or so in, the dragon moved off into the distance, and suddenly I saw this insane mammoth on the dragon's back. For once, I didn't have my recording app running for the start of this, and it took a second or two for me to realize what I was seeing and get it started recording so I'm afraid the first two seconds are lost forever, but...

This may explain why Mammoths are always dropping out of the skies in my games. They're clumsy dragon riders.

I don't know if you saw the first video (which was pretty hard to see) or the second (the current link), which I presume is better.... but yeah, I've wondered how it happens to rain mammoths on occasion!

Ha! Only in mod world! In vanilla vale, they just spawn high in the sky and drop down. They land on their feet, so there's some Khajiit DNA in there somewhere, but then with a slightly glitchy frame jump, they are suddenly in their side and quite dead.

I have also seen a flying Fox near Bonestrewn, which hileriously entered screen right at 300 feet. Glided silently to extreme screen left, then nose dived at 45degrees until impact. It didn't survive!

Yeah, I've seen them spawn in mid-air, I just never saw one riding a dragon before... Somewhere I have a video of a hunter flying and doing some kind of crazylegs dance maybe thirty or fourty feet over the lake near Riverwood... He eventually landed on the road near his horse.

I love the glitch Ulda sometimes does where
I go to jump and instead of landing she hovers just above the ground slowly waving her outstretched armed, like flying. I have some degree of direction control during this, but it only lasts a few seconds at best. Ever had that?

I have a mod that gives me various animations, one of which is lying down on a bed to sleep. Anyway, I'm too lazy generally to hunt through the menu for the standup animation, so I usually just jump. That floating thing happens fairly often and my character may float above the bed for several seconds. I'm always tempted to use my stand-up comic voice, and say "I just flew in from New York. Boy, are my arms TIRED!"

ive seen some crazy glitches but that one takes the gold metal, and they say flying mammoths dont exist. ive encountered some mammoths who will float up to the sky then drop to there death.
