ive hear so, building a computer is normally better, and cheaper, but im 16 im not sure how i could go about it...
Please explain how i could get that done, because i havent purchased it yet.
Wow kids these days don't know how to google?
Anyways, building a computer is actually quite simple, and honestly its all down to knowing what parts you want, and how they fit together.
Basic components you'll need:
Case (Full, Mid, and micro)
Motherboard (again same sizes as the case)
Processor, must match your motherboard. Newegg usually sells these as Combos
RAM
Video Graphics Card (usually best to have it correspond to the graphical chipset on your mobo in cases of future expansion of cards)
HDD
Optical Drive
Operating System
Power Supply (take into account your Video Card as you will need a minimum wattage power supply to actually run it.)
I/O Devices (mouse, keyboard, monitor, anything else you might want thats an I/O device)
Other extras include SSD, Cooling System, Sound System, etc etc etc.
I would suggest newegg.com for the buying of your parts, or Fry's Electronic's Warehouse if there is one near where you live as their techs could assist you in buying what you need.
@ Achromatis - There are several companies that build desktops specifically for gaming (iBuyPower comes to mind) , but again you could build cheaper.
