reason they were given to me was
1. too dirty for them to clean with the products they could afford
2. didnt know enough about either of them to confidently sell them
3. due to not being able to clean them they look rather crappy


so the mouse is a G5 Logitech mouse is this any good apparrently has a "gaming grade laser"

also the keyboard is a G15 logitech keyboard it has 2 usb ports on it and im guessing and I-pod control thing built on/in it

does any one know what all the "G" keys are for. they rest to the far left of it and they go from "G1" to "G18"


also the keyboard works with my 360 so now when playing GTAIV i can now use the "internet" faster

The G-Keys on the far left are for programmable macros they can also be used for starting up a program or typing out a text block and more. Go to Logitechs website and download drivers for the G15 and the G5. They are both quality products, I still use my G15 that I got ~5 years ago and I used my G5 for ~4 years before I recently upgraded to a G500. If you have the G15 keyboard with the LCD screen I'd recommend using SirRealsPlugin, I've used it forever and it is very useful.

so what is the value of this mouse and keyboard if they were brand new ???

+ why do i need drivers for them ? just plugging them in gave me a bunch of updates that allowed me to use them

also about the G5 Mouse is it possible to buy replacement weights (the battery looking things that go in the block that the mouse ejects) the previous owner put three 4.5g and five 1.7g weights in it also does it matter where the weights are placed at all ??? what exacly do they do apart for make the mouse slightly heavier (although the previous owners weigth set up makes it almost unoticable between having the weight pack in the mouse or left out to the side...)

also apparently my keyboard does infact glow blue ^.^ i thought didnt because it was still rather bright and sunny outside when i 1st used it and i only saw it light up under the little screen that can be propped up but when got darker my keyboard was glowing
