Work

Depends on just how effective manual labor is for earning money in this game.I'm guessing it's not like Fable 2 where you can buy several houses with the money you earned from serving drinks in a bar.

If my character doesn't have sweat-stains then he isn't working hard enough. We got armor orders to make.

I work enough in real life, why would I want to work in a game?

This reeks of something Peter Molyneaux would say - and he's utterly [censored], seriously; dude had like two great ideas and since then his ideas have been [censored] - it's only due to a great dev team at Lionhead that Fable 1 and 2 didn't svck entirely.

I'm totally down with a crafting system where you make stuff, or with NPCs working - but not a working minigame to get money (that's what LOOT is for).

Good thing they're optional.

Probably not.

Only if I'm broke, just to see what's it like/bored, or if it's in a quest.

Will definitely be doing some smithing, so might as well do some blacksmith work while I'm at it right? :D

My character will never be out of work, wether it's selling potions/poisons or enchanted gear or cooking, I'll be quite busy.

The whole reason I go out there and risk certain death fighting the most horrible of beasts and villains and visit the most cursed and dangerous of places is so that I don't have to work for a living.

It would be nice if I could work as, like, a healer, curing people and whatnot for a small fee. If it's limited to skills, though, maybe alchemy has something similar in store? I can be like the town alchemist... who has a terrible secret. I can heal people with potions by day... and eat them at night as a werewolf! Muahaha! - That is, if werewolves are playable. -

All work and no play makes Thauraver a dull boy,
All play and no work makes Thauraver a mere toy

I put maybe, because I would rather be dungeon crawling and completing side-quests for money. If I'm strapped for cash I'll go hunting since it's perfect for Marksman.

Spend a hard days work at the mill. Then later, blow off some steam at the tavern. Listen to music, drink, keep an eye peeled for wifey number two, and of course the occasional fist fight.
