Workshop should auto save after exiting...

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 11:02 am

If there is anyway anyone from bethesda can see this you guys really need to make it so it saves every time you exit the workshop. I've just been working on a settlement for hours at graygarden, I fell of the edge and died.....all progress lost..........Please make this happen. Or make it so you don't take fall damage in workshop mode...

That would be handy. I always save several times during settlement building.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!

-Ahem.... There are these things called manual saves, which you can do at will. Even further, if opening a pause menu and fiddling with the selections is too cumbersome, there's this one-button thing called "Quicksaving..."

In a game like this saving has to be like a nervous tick- something you don't even have to think about. Bethesda has already given you everything you need to o to succeed, my friend.

Wear power armor. Just not at a settlement with a Fatman wielding settler. You can put your weapon away quickly to appease pissed off settlers but you're not faster than a nuke.

Pause > Quicksave

I's become muscle-memory at this point, I don't even realize I'm doing it.

In short, I've become my own autosave.
