World Famous Rapper "Ice-T" calls New Vegas slow and

Prejudiced! Besides, what is wrong with New Jersey?

Jersey Shore. I meant the part about New Jersey as a joke, but still, Ice T and Coco look and sound as though they'd fit perfectly into the cast of Jersey Shore. I wish there were people like that in Fallout: New Vegas. :flamethrower:

To everyone talking down on Ice T, you need to realize that he's far more successful than any one of you will ever be. He makes more money than your parents, and has accomplished more in life than any of you.

Not saying I agree with his statements, just putting things into perspective for you.

I'm not a fan of him or listen to his music but Ice-T has made more money and has more success than most of you combined. His opinion is as valid as anyone else, don't be an jealous just because he has actual tweeter followers and his opinion isn't the same as yours.

You are going to be leading a very shallow and unmemorable life if making more money means being more successful in life.

And people with your mentality are the sole reason entertainment heads make millions of dollars, because of naive people that make them an idol.

Rapping elementary lyrics, and doing TV shows doesnt mean you accomplished anything ... You have much to learn. Just putting things into perspective for you. Hope you dont have kids.

Only thing I hate is being compared unfavorably to a celebrity.

Before I read past the first two lines, mind showing me your degree in psychology? And no, I don't listen to rap or spend any money on the entertainment industry (aside from porm of course.) Allow me to remind you that you don't know me, and what you think you know about humanity and the way things work couldn't be further from the truth. But please, flame more, oh enraged internet teenager!

\and yeah, in society today, money is directly translated to success. Don't kid yourself.

Your obviously one of these pathetic people who think the world revolves around celebrities. To me, and to most other people "Ice-T" is a nobody. I would never want to be like him in any way, or even live his lifestyle. He is not successful at all in my books, he sings and acts? Just like millions of other people have done in the past, and will do in the future. I think you need to put things into perspective mate before you make stupid comments like that.

Successful by what standards -- is making money your only standard of measurement? I think it's more important to consider in what way the money has been earned. Reality stars and politicians tend to grow wealthy pretty quickly, but I cannot consider many of them successfull human beings. In that regard, I have a far greater admiration for entrepreneurs, designers and inventors. Besides, almost any single one of us have the potential to reach as high as we want to, if we dedicate ourselves strongly enough to it, and have persistence.

When you say things like "he's more successful than any one of you can ever be," I just assume you think he's more successful than you can ever be. You criticise me for being prejudgemental, then immediately prejudge everyone on this forum. Just putting things into perspective for you, as you say.

Couldn't be further from the truth. I don't agree that it's "fair" how they made their millions, but it is what it is. They aren't scammers, people are willing to pay to be entertained, and they take advantage of that. If having money isn't 90% of what being successful is all about. please tell me what is.

It's called ambition, and yeah I will, you have fun being a broke internet BBS half assed philosopher. It'd be unfair for me to blame you for how you turned out, you never got a chance to pick your parents after all.

What is being successful? Becoming a soldier to fight for and defend your country is a good start. Becoming a doctor to save lives. Join the fire brigade to save lives. Become a scientist, an inventor, the list goes on. What ISN'T on the list is being a rapper, funny enough.

Maybe in your [censored] up perspective, but to an individual who thinks for himself, going off to murder and risk life and limb for some already powerful man's own personal gain is a prime example of what a successful person, or someone who's striving for success, shouldn't do.

Becoming a doctor to save lives. Join the fire brigade to save lives.

in utopia or the Marvel universe, maybe.

Become a scientist, an inventor.

okay what about the people who invent chemical weapons or the scientists who first made nukes. Are they successful for what they've done for humanity? Or from the amount of money they made from their scientific accomplishments

What ISN'T on the list is being a rapper, funny enough.

Correction; What isn't on YOUR list is being a rapper. all your definitions of success involve self sacrifice for others' gain, which has pretty much been proven time and time again as what NOT to do if you want to make it to the top.

I'm sorry you're not talented enough to make any money in the entertainment industry, but really, you need to understand that society is what it is and we didn't make the rules, we just play by them.

Aw getting to name calling now, are we? You keep showing the forums how well you were raised some more!

You're the one who brought upbringing, AND namecalling into this before anything,

Another societal culprit... You keep trying to gain money so you can get more "success", kid..... Just shows how well you were raised.

which is ironic as bringing up such a thing only hurts yourself in this situation.
