World Famous Rapper "Ice-T" calls New Vegas slow and

Post » Thu Oct 14, 2010 4:39 am

World Famous Rapper "Ice-T" had the following things to say about Fallout: New Vegas today:

It's slow...

The load screens take forever..

It froze once..

He also stated that the game has too much talking but that's personal preference and not really bad press.

Look on the upside boys and girls, at the end of his tweet he stated "But I can't stop playing!"

Just goes to show Obsidian/Bethesda, the whole world notices when you leave games like this.

Keep on surviving guys.. hopefully they can get a working patch out to fix this great game soon!(As in one that doesn't break it further :P) Such a shame it's being highlighted for it's bugs and low quality testing and not the awesome game it is.

When the world stops for the pronouncements made by over-the-hill pop artists I will shed a tear and cuddle up with my binky in the corner.

Ice-T? What an absoloute idiot.

Luckily I've encountered barely any glitches, I guess I'm lucky.

Ice-T isn't on my list of people to take advice from, for some reason.

I love how "musicians" think they are "actors" and "actors" think they are "musicians" like they are all one in the same. People who do that are inadvertently saying "please hire me, I still need to be the center of attention". That makes me sick.

"great" and "rappers: should never be in the same sentence.

you can't take anything from anyone that calls themselves ice-t seriously

on another forum, i'd use the R word liberally, especially for his commentary about there being too much talking.

I don't think it deserves its own thread but his opinion is as valid as everyone elses, and we're spouting ours all over the forum so... what's the diff?

Some people are having freeze and crash issues, and encountering bugs, and there is far less combat in Fallout: New Vegas than there was in Fallout 3, so I guess this means Ice-T was a fan of Fallout 3. Ice-T's the guy who danced around with Ninja Turtles, right? Or am I confusing my teas?

Or ices...

Actually I think it's more along the lines of actor/dancer to rapper to metal and back to actor. He was in Fame.

Geez, first the girl from pvssycat Dolls, and now this 'Ice-T'... who's going to comment on F:NV next -- Snooki? I don't like knowing that these people are attracted to the same game as I.

I enjoy ice tea, but cannot seriously listen to anyone who name themselves after it. In any case, his criticism is pretty irrelevant to me, as I find the game to be quick, smooth and with minimal load screens. I've played it for around 60 hours so far (with the same character, who hasn't entered the Strip yet), and it's only frozen on me twice.

I love how the prejudices are being pulled out for this one. When "Ice-T" looks upon this "forum" I'm sure he will "cry"

Have to say I'm surprised so many people who say they havent heard of ice-T or don't like him taking knotice of whats he's saying and making a comment on it. Yeah to be fair I'm doing the same and he's not exaclly the person I look to for opions on video games, but it is just that, his opion, and lets face it he's only saying what half the posters on here have already said.

Alright, I looked him up. He's a 'gangster rapper' who's into reality shows, and is married to a fake blonde bimbo named "Coco". Worse still; he's from New Jersey. Judging by this, his celebrity status and his political views, he's pretty much the stereotypical person for South Park to rightfully ridicule. ;)

Prejudiced! Besides, what is wrong with New Jersey?

Didn't sound like much of a "bashing" to be honest. "It has bugs and I'm not doing enough killing, but I can't stop playing." he must like it, he must just wish the game was less buggy and ha a little more action.... don't we all agree with 1/2 of that at least?
