World Map Issues

Post » Sat Sep 07, 2013 1:49 pm

I installed the Colored Map for Oblivion recently. I already had the Colored Map for Elsweyr installed, then installed Darnified UI. Now when I look at the world map, all of the location icons have shifted far towards the south east. In other words, The Imperial City icons are now south east from Bravil, etc. I have my entire game saved on an external drive from a point previous to the map problem. Aside from copying and pasting it into my current game folder (thus reverting back to how my game was when I backed it up), I was wondering if there was an easier way of repairing my world map. I've tried reinstalling the Colored maps but it hasn't fixed the problem. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a specific folder I can use from my backup that will repair the world map? Thanks in advance for any help.

I got it to work fine. Unfortunately, it seemed to mess up when I installed the Colored Map. Thinking back, it looked like the Colored Map for Elsweyr might have included the rest of the world map. I know Morrowind lets you reset the map. You lose all of your location icons until you visit them again, but you can still see the names of places you've found if you move your arrow over those areas.
