Worldspace water glitches

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 11:03 am

I'm trying to make a world space and no matter what I do the water gets messed up. I've tried the exact same setup as the wasteland worldspace but as soon as I drag the land above the water's surface it breaks. I've tried making the default land higher than the water and vice versa but it breaks everytime. Sometimes if I load it in Fallout it'll be fine, but it's always messed up in the GECK. When it's messed up in geck its impossible to see what you're doing. You can only see the land when you look between the sky and the water edge.

The default land height should be set to 11000. The default water height should be set to 10500. That should fix the water issues.

I also keep the 'LOD' water check box off until I am done with the worldspace editing.

Still doesn't work :( It's like the water takes priory over the land in which should be render first. If you move the camera down and look sideways, you can catch a glimpse of the land by looking off into the distance though. That's in geck, if I open it in Fallout 3, it's fine.

Yep, I went back and tried it from scratch again but the same problem persists. :(

Well, I fixed it by turning off LOD and then saving the mod. Shutting down the GECK and then restarting it and the world cell looked fine for me.
