i was getting in the mood to get up and go buy the game first thing in the morning. started watching some videos and then saw the above video. WTF! i really hope that the combat is that crappy because its a pre-beta demo? its just like they did with assassins creed where you have dozens of bad guys just standing around doing nothing waiting around while you take them out one at a time. [censored] it. why do good games always have to get ruined so preteens can feel "EPIC". :banghead:

have you seen footage otherwise? if i wait for actual youtube footage tomorrow from people who bought it, i run the risk of best buy running out of copies. on the other hand i dont want plunk down $50 on a game that i will give up on after a couple of hours. ive been looking forward to this game just as much as skyrim for over a year now.

Yup. And the first actual fight has you up against two small soldiers, one with a two handed sword who likes to get in your back, and one guy with a tower shield. Worry not, they all attack you at the same time, if that's what you want.

ok thanks a bunch. i was hoping that video was that way because it was prebeta. you just made my year. it really really bugs me when im fighting multiple npcs and i see them just standing around. i couldnt play assassins creed 1 or 2 very long because of that.
