bethesda reads all these posts, mistaking it for the suggestions thread. they figure, "well, if it's what the fans want" and so they take the worst aspects from each scenario, throw it onto a disk, then the world ends.

It isn't, and we know that for sure, but just out of curiousity, why is that a bad thing? Graphics? General dislike for Gamebryo? They're using Gamebryo again, I'm pretty sure of it, but it will be different. Todd said it looks like the engine of a new console, but it will be for this generation of consoles.

You start the game in a jail cell, again. A guard approaches the cell and demands you back away from the door.
Before you have time to move, the guard enters. A svcker punch from the guard knocks you to the floor JUST as the cell door closes.
It slams on you and your limbs begin flailing and stretching in every direction. The game auto saves.

You see a brief introduction movie with many blinking lights and flashing symbols, explaining how to move your cursor, and that your name henceforth shall be "x". Epic music begins to play.

The game loads and you immediately begin reading down a long checklist of changes, additions, and reverts brought on by "Our Fans". Once you approve each edit, with your single initial "x", you are transferred to the forums, where you have to read the even longer list of complaints.

You're then taken to an office filled with holes in the walls and ominous screens everywhere. After the "200 Hour Hate", you begin the main quest, destroying evidence of any such requests.

There is one dialogue line in the entire game, but you can't listen to it, for fear of being "vaporized".

im not shure i can top that exept with a real nightmare i had i woke up after having a dream of me converting to islam becoming a terorist and shooting the amricins up a bunc then geting hiv from a butifull lady and geting aids then going to amarica and becoming a suside prosttute haveing six with evryone spraiding aids when a cop catches me having six with a 99 year old man and shhots my in the privets and torturse me for the rest of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WOKE UP IN A COLD SWEAT MAN!! that was the worst dream ever

and no im not muslim or a terorist im a teenager who plans to join the navy as a piolet on a arcraft carior or the green baraise then get free schooling and become a vetranarian

Alright...well one of my nightmares is that they would put you in a position of command as all your orders would be misinterpreted as your spelling is atrocious, it is literally the worst spelling i have ever seen from a teenager. You aren't even consistent in your misspellings which might have made it a little easier to read.

Guns and a multiplayer option (I don't like to share :P). I think that the idea of "Stealth Deers" is in fact awesome and I may be slightly disappointed if they don't turn up in TESV

Those were meant to be read as separate scenarios.

Definitely Multiplayer. Or better, an emphasis on it. Might be fun to do some co-op. But the core single player game play should be unaffected.

The second worst thing would be Beth finally coming forward announcing a game that has been finished since 2008 and they've only been working on a really clever DRM system since then. It's called 'Adoring Fan' and follows you around even when the computer is off, watching out for illicit activity with the game DVD. Ubisoft buys Beth a day after the announcement.

My third worst nightmare is further dumbing it down for the console kiddies. Oblivion was borderline there and it's the only thing I don't trust Beth with. It's just such a large market to ignore. It's easy to throw us PC folks whatever's left from the console table.

However, I wouldn't be so much against setting a new game (hurry up already, Beth!) in a more advanced age. Doesn't have to be bullet trains and sentient computers or something but I think there's a cool story or two in of 'Return of the Dwemer' and industrialization. Doesn't always have to have a medieval vibe to it now, does it. There's lots of history completely uncovered by games or movies.

Anyway... I think the worst thing of all is to let us wait much longer. Come on Beth, we KNOW you're working on it. We're used to you making us wait forever once the first brilliant screenshots are out. TES has been with me for 10 years or so now but having adequate time to play it becomes less and less with advancing age.

Just a tough of the Adoring fan: The creators did him in the aspect of being a npc that everyone would hate? or they didnt know the consecuences when they created him? even before knowing that all of the internet hated him, i did it myself, when playing it, so im interested if his creation was in purpose to made everyone crazy about this little crapkid.

There's always some super annoying character in TES games. In Morrowind you had Fargoth. In Tribunal you had that guy who bums money from you endlessly. Can't recall any in Bloodmoon but I'm sure there was somebody. Oblivion has the Fan, Shivering Isles... well, plenty ;) So I guess they're there by design.

In principle? Nothing. It's just very sad when the necessarily dumbed down versions of complex games are tossed at PC players with PC controls 1:1 without even changing the fonts. Enter exhibit A: Oblivion.

Worst scenario:

The game begins with a cutscene of seyda neen, everyone going about thier daily buisness, then the adoring fan in full daedric armour pops out from a bush and proceeds to slaughter everyone. The camera has a close-up of fargoths face. ''Please chosen one, help us! I will fight by your side! To make the game more accessible bethesda has scrapped character gen and you must play as a imperial warrior name Dave. To make the game easier you start with 100000000000000 health, but to please the hardcoe fans you have no fatigue. The game starts, you walk towards the crazed adoring fan and the adoring fan beats you to the ground with his fists since you have no fatigue, and with every punch he shouts 'By Azura!' You sit through this until 3 days later you are on 1 health, then fargoth gives you a health potion to restore your health back up to 100000000000000, making tes V a neverending loop of the adoring fan punching you and shouting 'By Azura'
