Worst Goof'd Up Change

Post » Tue Apr 08, 2014 5:11 am

You know when a company (Fast food, gaming, whatever) changes something and it is technically "for the worse"? And you just want to say "they done goof up"? (Or something else that we shouldn't say here on the forums due to swear words).

Well... Which one of these changes do you not like? Which one do you think is the worst? Or can you not pick a worst one just cause there are too many?

As for myself, the most recent one I can name is what Subway did recently... For years now, some Subways (Including one that we usually go to) sold Personal Pizzas which was flat-out amazing... One of my favorite personal pizzas ever honestly... But recently, Subway thought it was a better idea to remove said personal pizza and replace it with a "Flatizza" which I did try and it was just awful... I hated it greatly and honestly now hate Subway again since they got rid of the only thing on their list that I loved (I don't like subs)...

My complaint goes back to the early 80's, when Burger King discontinued the http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/Yumbo.jpg. I loved those damned things.

I wasn't even born at the time... Dang.

Speaking about Burger King, them discontinuing chicken fries made me upset as well... At least Burger King still have their version of "chicken selects", last I check (NOT chicken nuggets)...

McDonalds got rid of their chicken selects...

I once had an entire classroom stunned into silence when they found out I didn't know Kurt Cobain was dead. It was worse than that actually. I'd never heard of the guy.

Overrated singer IMO. Won't criticise people who like Nirvana, but nothing annoys me like a person who goes 'I like Nirvana' and can only name 1 or 2 songs.

Dungeon Siege III. Not Obsidian's finest work, although at least some credit for this probably has to go to the publisher, Square Enix.

That's because Nirvana is the "in" thing.

When all fast food restaurants stopped serving food and started serving weird bits of industrial waste mixed with animal byproduct instead. I think it was sometime in the early '90s.

Just go to Arby's. Everything on their menu looks like that.

It was actually shaved ham and slices of cheese, not that nasty "cheese" sauce from Arby's.

I loathe Arbys.

TMI:

Spoiler
I guess their food is so greasy that the grease ran straight through me and I utterly unleashed on a friend's sibling's (who I did not know) on her toilet. So yeah, I hate Arbys.

they changed it to 'new coke' or something like that, with the knowledge that every one would hate it, so they could come back with "coke classic" and every one would be drinking coke. that is the reason coke says coke classic all the time.

im pretty sure pepsi tried to copy that with "pepsi new" but no one gives a [censored] about pepsi so of course it failed.

then there is mountain dew which DID change their formula and branding but claims they kept the formula the same. hasn't tasted right ever since.

Not the director's fault though. Do you own the Quadrilogy? A lot of interesting discussion on the bonus discs for Alien 3.

Resurrection was good though, Prometheus i also really liked and can't wait for the next one. It'll be interesting to see where they take the series

Ye'h. Been going on for years...

Their original pizza was http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nzHFmVlmrLw/UrIyiVpultI/AAAAAAAAZ9U/x2eWeiMz2IQ/s1600/subway-pizzas.jpg... Now they have crap "Flatizzas" (Flat bread pizza with crappy sauce and cheese).

I'ma throw in my cents with this...

Firstly, I don't like burgers at all. Chicken burgers, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, whatever. Don't like the bread and most of the time, don't like the things in it...

Secondly, Arby's is one of my favorite fast food places cause they have some amazing chicken, onion rings, and I loved the berry blast milkshakes they had going for a bit that one time! (They discontinued the shakes though...).

Pepsi is my second favorite soda drink. Only behind Mountain Dew actually. But I only care for the regular kind... Don't care for all the "code red" and other crap like that.

Also, didn't knew Mountain Dew changed their formula... That's interesting.
