My all time Worst Movie Award goes to "Purple Rain".
The girl I was dating when that "movie" came out was a Prince fan. That's how I ended up in the theater watching it.
About half way through (when he puts the motorcycle in the lake), I leaned over and told here I was sick, and we had to leave.
It is the only... (the ONLY) movie I have ever walked out on, or otherwise not watched to the end.

:stare:, it's not a film, it's a concert, the whole thing was a two hour music video/ad for the album

I don't know if it's the worst ever, but I watched the first few minutes of Judge Dredd this morning. Just awful.

Just a thought, The new Clash of the Titans, being a fan of the original and seeing the "remake" made me squirm in horror.

I can second that. The original was incredible, and as great as people think Liam Neeson is, he's no Lawrence Olivier. Still I don't think this movie was even in my top10 WORST EVER list.

Probably Invasion of the Neptune Men. One, it was a shameless ripoff of another (terrible) movie called Prince of Space, except that it wholly lacked the so-bad-it's-good charm. And two, in order to save money, they used real footage of buildings being blown up during WWII. In a movie for kids! Needless to say, MST3K was unrelentingly brutal in the treatment of this filth (and it nearly drove Mike and the bots to insanity).

Who is that guy, anyway? I know he's the star of that movie, but who is he other than that?

He's in the wizard, another crappy film

Anything MST3K is pretty awful, but I'm pretty sure D list movies have no aspirations beyond breaking even. (My favorite, by the way is Space Mutiny, if you haven't seen it, it's the best of the best). But one thing that makes a movie truly brutally terrible is thinking that its a good movie. A movie that svcks, but knows it svcks can't be considered the worst movie, because it doesn't have that arrogance that drives it over the top.

The reason I specifically cited that particular film was because of its use of depictions of real violence just to save money. That goes beyond mere bad, it's tasteless, disrespectful, and utterly disgusting. I'll take a pretentious bad movie over that kind of thing any day.

Regardless, Space Mutiny is hilarious. If only for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFHlJ2voJHY.

Anything Uwe Boll Made or the Room.

I use to think so. But I went on a limb and watched Rampage which is by Uwe Boll. A very disturbing movie. I liked it though.

All of the movies in this thread are just "movies that are not good/ are disappointing". There's nothing genuinely bad here.

to contribute um, the human cintpede was worth a watch just for how bad it was, or another reason never to go to germany

Evry Saw movie after the second one. They should've pulled the plug entirely on the franchise when Jigsaw died in the third.

[insert any made for SyFy movie here]

So true! Except for Darklight, which I liked, because it reminded me a lot of a comic book, but in movie format.

EDIT:
the star wars movie with jarjar binks and stuff. Not that I'm a huge fan of the first three movies released, but the next "trilogy" prequel thingy I really did not like.

That movie really is the gold standard for bad movies. It is worth watching with a bunch of friends just to laugh at how terrible it is and take the piss out of it.

The Dungeons and Dragons movie released in 2000. turned it off after 20 minutes the first time. tried it again, and turned it off after 30 minutes.
it was just soooo bad, and gives D&D a bad name.

also... In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. with Burt Reynolds....horrible!
