Worst movie EVER

Post » Sun Dec 12, 2010 12:37 am

The Family Guy one? If so I agree completely, Family Guy can be hilarious, but it's Star Wars impressions and endless jokes got boring fast in my oppinion.

Oh my dearest, you have no idea of the horror of the 1978 holiday special do you?
heres a fraction of it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86KUAFyPX7w&feature=related

edit: just to give some context, this film was so bad it was never re aired and George Lucas has gone out of his way to make sure no one ever sees or hears of it. Its the one project he is personally ashamed of. He said if he had the time he would go round the world with a hammer and smash every copy of the film ever made.

Based expectation of the time Runaway, which was supposed to be better than Terminator.

Not the worst, but if even Sean Connery can't prevent it from being absolutely terrible than it should score pretty high on the crap-o-meter. Yes Highlander, I am talking about you.

Heres a review of it thats very funny to me. One of my favorite moments of the review is the part where he comments about Bea Arthur being in it.

Darth sideous: you have done well lord vader, and now i sense we must focus all our forces to crush this tiny cantina on tattooine
Darth Vader: what of the reports of rebel fleet massing near sullace?
Darth Sideous: it is of no concern, soon the cantina will be crushed and Bea Arthur will be one of us.
Darth Vader:....... why do we need Bea Arthur?
Darth Sideous: Silence!

The Crazies.

The only thing I didn't like about the crazies was that I had the strange misconception that it would be about crazy people escaping a mental asylum and killing people cause they were crazy.

Spoiler
I wasn't expecting zombies

The absolute worst movie I've ever seen is http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1058017/. It's so abysmally awful that I refuse to watch anything else with Ricky Gervais in it. The fact that he directed, wrote and starred in it makes him a monster in my eyes. :flame:

Put a number behind that. Now! I demand it! :toughninja:

You mean "THE EMPEROR", or just EMPEROR PALPATINE. Lalalala... :shifty:

I'm not going to lie, I laughed a few times while watching, but then I got to the part where the chewbacca family were in their livingroom and it just got awkwardly bad (the holiday special footage that is) and I stopped watching ^_^

Sorry :(

Generally I don't care if a movie has crap acting, plot, or whatever. As long as it is entertaining in some way. What would qualify for me is a horror movie that doesn't scare you in any way (unless it's funny). First thing that comes to mind for me is http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0301848/. Completely run-of-the-mill teenage slasher film without anything amusing in it.

Advent Children is the worst movie I've ever seen. Not only was it absolutely terrible fan service, half of the film was unnecessary exposition explaining what was going on. Not that anything going on was interesting whatsoever. It screwed with the continuity of Final Fantasy VII and tried way too hard to connect all of the nonsense together. Dead characters came back for no better reason than to make FF fans squeal like schoolgirls and the plot...was so [censored] bad.

Horror remakes are :shakehead: to the original classic, imo. Some pull off, but majority do not.

It depends. I'm usually a big fan of hilariously bad movies. My all-time favorites being the almighty http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098333/, or, in a less exuberant genre, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098156/. If you do not value your braincells too much, pick it up, tons of alcohol, and watch it with friends at 3AM. You won't be disappointed.

Even movies like Lord of the Rings, Troy or the most recent Clash Of the Titans didn't phase me. It's amazing how a mix of throwing tons of money and taking yourself too seriously can achieve exactly the same cheesiness.

Advent Children is the worst movie I've ever seen.

Then you clearly have not seen http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0173840/The only time when I truly regretted the price of my ticket.

Seen it. It was bad as well, but at least it didn't sodomize an already existing Final Fantasy title. Funny how a movie that had nothing to do with Final Fantasy pissed me off less than a movie that contained a plethora of (awful) references from one of the games.

Haven't played FFVII, may explain why I tolerated it better than the previous one - which had the worst voicing I'd ever seen. And as far as I can remember, an insane plot construction.
