Worst thing @ Elder scroll series?

Lack of incentive to explore Cyrodiil in Oblivion, as a result of overused level scaling and very little handplaced loot.

Seriously, exploration is one of the main reasons why I play this series and they messed that up badly with Oblivion. Why should I care about looking inside this dungeon when I already know it's only going to have enemies and loot chests scaled to my level? Why should I explore the wilderness when there are almost no people on the roads?

I agree. Though Oblivion's world was incredible to explore, for me after a while, the lack of any handplaced powerful items or tactical boss enemies made it a little unrewarding. On the 360 version, I wanted achievements on exploring the map thoroughly or wandering the lands for a specific number of hours. That would have given me more incentive to explore.

yes i agree, the lack of hand placed powerful items greatly diminished the exploration value of the game for me. Which is my greatest concern for the games, exploration value.

the combat could be turn based for all i care. Just as long as this is fixed. Hopefully the change in level scaling will be enough to appease the explorer in me.

The linear story is in discordance with the freedom of roaming / building a character from scraps.

Your Grammar and spelling is terrible btw.........

I can't >think< of a single >thing< that i dislike about the whole TES series.
I Love TES. All hail Bethesda, king of RPG's.

Don't point out grammer and spelling with people,i don't like it. There could be a number of reasons why.

Next time have think before you type anything.

Worst thing about TES altogether are the pessimistic members of the community.

This.

Worst thing in the series, for me, is the fans.

I enjoyed Demon's Souls from what I played, but I think the difficulty is extremely exaggerated. I managed to finish the first level and defeat the phalanx(sp?) without dying once. You just have to be careful. Sadly, I did not get to play any further. I don't have a PS3. I just got to play it at a friend's house.

What makes Demon's souls hard is how much it punishes you for failure. If you've got a good character and you're sufficiently skilled, even the hardest bosses can be a breeze (except for old king allant), but when you're either ill-prepared (no ranged abilities or anti-magic field in tower of latria) or poorly skilled, or suffer an accident, and get killed, then you lose all the souls you've gathered and get knocked back down to soul form (if in body form). People say it's difficult just because of how much you lose when you die.

Ya know how people say about Portal that it's a great game but the fanbse is insufferable? well if you count a fanbase as pat of the thing, then that. If not, then I couldn't say since every TES game is radically different. I could pick out one thing from each that I dislike, if I tried, but not for the series as a whole.

Morrowind was ten square miles, Oblivion was sixteen.

Not quite. Vvardenfell was six square miles; Cyrodiil less than nine.

The worst part for me is the amount of voice actors in Oblivion, and i thought the end of the main quest was lame!
