Worst Things You have done in Fallout 3!

You'd think someone that full of Nuka Cola wouldn't really be able to die...or would end up preserved in some weird way.

Yeah, all that Quantum will probably preserve her for years, oddly enough.

Accidentally started a fight with a guy in Megaton.

Forgot my companions would go insane and start killing ever enemy in sight. That paired with the fact that it was right in the center of town in front of everyone in town made it basically a massacre :|.

That and completely ruining Daves Republic (killing advlts/scaring children away).

AND a glitch that made everyone in Big Town useless when Super Mutants came, so I was forced to witness every single one of them die with one of two hits with a sledgehammer or whatever.

I was a psychotic murderer on MAJORITY of my characters, and that's like 9/10 characters. There is no fun in letting everyone in Megaton live/blowing up Megaton. The worst thing I've done was kill everyone in Megaton, steal everything from the shops and the clinic, then blow up Megaton. Damn I hate that town.

My character is evil
Completely and utterly evil.
She always uses the most insulting and aggressive dialog options, has no compunctions about killing or enslaving, and openly is a cannibal.

Killcount over seven... PAH!
You don't get on the kill on sight list with the BoS, Outcasts, and Enclave unless you are a cold hearted mass-murderess.

Megaton was depopulated then made a crater, and Tenpenny is now a multistorey graveyard.
Every wasteland captive was untied, and then blasted in the head, in VATS, at point blank, with the combat shotgun, before they could stand up.
The MQ was done solely to mass distribute the FEV.
The Oasis has dried up in an inferno.
The Underworld has had its residents join the underworld for real.
GNR is looking for a new DJ.
Little Lamplight received a visit from the Pint Size Slasher.
Vault 101 had a 'malfunction' with its water systems.
Rivet City lost its security chief in odd circumstances, then one of its weapons dealers went missing, followed by a suicide, the closure of the science labs, and finally complete and utter depopulation.
Big Town lost its doctor, then the super mutants were too slow to beat me in depopulating the place.
The slavers purchased all the old memorabilia I found; and destroyed them, the Temple Of The Union was defiled to help enforce the rule of the slavers, and what's left of the Lincoln monument is slated for demolition.
The sole survivor of Grayditch was just another business transaction completed in Paradise Falls.
The only remaining population centre is the slavers base in the old Paradise Falls Shopping Center.

which is why I never do the main quest when I play an evil character (or i'll just play up until the point where the Enclave show up) and got some mods to let me join the Enclave. When I play an cold-hearted slaver from Paradise Falls, I doubt he would give a crap about the water supply for the wasteland, aside from providing the water so potential slaves don't die.

Lt. Andronicus, what are the mods you run so you can join the Enclave?

I never kill people personally, unless it's in self defense. I also avoid provoking anyone to attack me.

But that doesn't mean I won't conduct genocide in the name of better tomorrow... Does it count?

My main mod is "Enclave Commander" as well as a Raven Rock extended mod (which allows you to get into get into raven rock and use it as a base following the "American Dream quest". I also made a quick one of my own which sets me and any companions (including those in "Enclave Commander") allied to the Enclave. I also got a few which add some interesting Enclave-themed armor/weapons. Unfortunately there's none that I know of which actually give you any quests to do as the Enclave (so there is alot of roleplay/imagination involved). There is one however called "The Eagle has Landed" which is in development and is supposed to be a revamp of the MQ from the point of view of the Enclave.

Edit: I just realized Pistolero posted above me....so he's the one to really ask...since he makes so many great Enclave mods

I shot poor ol' Sydney in the head in VATS, totally by accident of course. It helped that she had already died by mutant SuperSledge and was flying through the air in front of my hail of bullets.;)

I prefer playing good characters if I am given a choice. Even if I were to play an evil character there are certain actions I could never do(such as sell Bumble into slavery...I realize it's just a game and all, but still...).

Thank you very much for the info, Lt. Andronicus. I'll definitely be grabbing all those mods.
I have never been a fan of CRPGs that claim you have freedom to do what you want, but fail to deliver by forcing you to accept the MQ and to only be able to play the game for the one side that the devteam preselects for you.

Actually, Steve, playing strictly good or evil in FO3 is boring.
I will admit that in terms or practical rewards, playing good does not bring as useful rewards as playing evil.
What is annoying in the game is that some convo sequences have no proper evil path.
eg: ThreeDog at GNR when asking for info about your father. There is no option to say 'Tell me where the f*** he is, 'cause I'm goin' there to repaint the b******s new lab with his brains!'
The only convo options are all good/neutral ones begging ThreeDog for the info.

I'm in the habit of using sneak to get next to sleeping or sitting people then I shoot them in the head with my silent 10 mm.

my favorite kill, civilian or hostile is running up close and demolishing their skull with my sawed off shotgun .... I love when the eyes go flying out of the skull before it cracks.

...I'm sick.

Well, in the grand scheme of things, i suppose the most worst thing i've done is blow up Megaton.. in the sense that this is where i killed the most people.

The thing i felt crappiest about though was selling Bumble into slavery.. thatone was bad.. made me feel all [censored] about playing an evil char lol

The wasteland player and wasteland captives mods also add some evil :D

I never play evil in FO3 because the broken story won't really let you do it feasibly. The best I can do is a semi angry merc mentality but the character always has to turn around seeking redemption at the end since you have to help the BOS get "pure water for everyone in the wasteland".

As I happily accept the job of cleansing the wasteland of the mutant filth who infest it, I regard my dealings with the BoS in the end game stages of the MQ as being economical with the truth. The BoS are NEVER told who I am working for nor where the super mutants are coming from. I treat the BoS squad forced upon me, as my personal meat shields for getting me to the lab for distributing the FEV. Before I enter Monument, I make a point of backtracking and eradicating any BoS meat shields who make it as far as the Monument. In the lab in the Monument, I use that BoS 'companion' forcibly foisted upon me, as expendable for extermination by massive radiation exposure.
Unfortunately, the feral ghouls in the dev department at Bethesda who came up with the end game montage, never thought to make a proper one for a completely evil character who is merely abusing the BoS for their own ends. Instead what such players cop is an end game montage that paints that suicidal BoS idiot as a 'True American Hero'.
And if ever there was a robot that needed urgent reprogramming by a tac nuke *BEFORE* deployment, Liberty Prime is definitely such a target.

This.

Although it depends on what you mean by evil. A psychopath lacks empathy and thus has no problems using, abusing, or murdering others when it suits his needs. However, he may not feel the need to kill the BoS for no reason, or slay random people he comes across for little personal gain.

Hitler probably would have had a relatively "good" play through until he attempted to make a genetically "pure" master race at the end. Remember Hitler was a vegetarian and loved animals - evil isn't cartoonish - its complex.

So really the game is not as karmically black and white as it seems, although the simplistic karma points and titles it gives you work against that end.

Slaughtering people for fun (sadism) or for no reason at all (chaos) is evil as well but is not the only way to be evil and probably the least realistic.

That would be great if the FEV spiked water actually harmed anyone..........other than your own character that is.

Check Rivet City's clinic after broken steel. People will be clutching their stomach and complaining about the water.

Also, IIRC, over time all of the mutants you encounter will have less health.

I got all the Megaton based jobs out of the way, managing to avoid Sheriff 'RoboGreeter' Simms, till I was ready to erase the fool. Which just happened to be after I'd spoken with Mr. Burke and had attended to the minor job he'd wanted preparing in the centre of the slum.
Of course once I had... attended... to Simms, then there was the even less consequential matter of making sure that the moronic yokels became corpses, ready for burial along with their slum.
The Tenpenny Tower Suite is a far better reward than the Megaton hovel you receive if you are some do-gooder imbecile. 4 non-respawning storage containers (5 with the Vault theme) in the Tenpenny Suite with everything working properly, vs. the thoroughly bugged; even after patching; Megaton hovel with possibly only 1 non-respawning storage container. No contest at all.
Even better with Tenpenny, is that when you are permitted entrance to the tower, you can get a job to cleanse the Wasteland of some filthy ghouls.
What's there not to like for being evil?

Personally, I'd love to detonate Rivet City's reactor, and send the pile of scrap to the bottom of the Potomac.
But since AFAIK that can't be done in the game, settling for the eradication of almost everyone in that hulk has to be accepted as a poor second prize. And why 'almost everyone' you ask. Because there are several NPCs living in that damned pile of scrap that are set as essential, and also there are those damned respawning Rivet City Security. :flame:
IMO, would would make for a cool mod would be to find some more unused nukes, have to plant the nukes in Rivet City, The Citadel, and the Vaults, and then get to blow those places off the face of the planet!
