Is it really worth to buy Crysis 2 for 40€?
I don't know if I wait to be available for download or I buy it.
I really miss sniping in crysis 2. I played demo MP but I had a crap graphic card.
I have just buy new graphic card for 90€.

What do you recommend?

I'd say wait a week or two.

I suggest you send the graphics card back and spend ￡180 on a decent card, such as the GTX 560 Ti or the AMD 6950 1GB. Or as the chances are that your rig is severely outdated I suggest saving up for a brand spanking new rig. I would also recommend purchasing Crysis and Crysis Warhead over Crysis 2. Despite the number 2, graphically and content wise, most people would view crysis 2 as the prequel to Crysis and Crysis Warhead.

Don't ask people on this forum for an opinion on this game cause all u'll get is "ugh this game svcks" and all that ****. It a great game when it's not playing up so give it a week or two and then get it.

i bought my crysis 2 on the released date, and now i think i should have waited a bit more. there are some crazy hacking issues going on in the multiplayer right now. people shoot you without decloacking, people can blink to you, people kill you with three bullets when you are in armored mode (it is not head shot!). definitly wait for a bit until crytek work their way through these hacking issues. overall the campaign is really good though. be patient my friend

I would wait for the price to drop and for them to spend a couple of months patching it. The game is not what Crytek hyped it up to be. It fails to be even an equal to its predessor, a slight few things are improvments but overall its meh. Its an ok game but not worth 43€, at best its 14-20€...

Yeah silly people expecting Crytek to produce a decent game they hyped up to be better then Crysis 1 and instead getting a mediocre unprotected beta. They should be glad for the privilage to pay $60 bucks for it!

Crytek promised this and that. If you like CoD then you may like this, but get it IF they actually fix it, not before.

I'd say save your money and get a better graphics card like the GeForce GTX 560ti instead, as the game won't be updated and fixed anytime soon anyway.
You'll have plenty of time to save up more money and get the game at a later time (i doubt they will run out of copies).

If you sincerely loved everything about crysis 1, and were completely relying on crytek to once again push the envelope and create the "the best crysis experience you've ever had" with "the most amazing blood curdling graphics you ever seen" then no.. it's totally not worth buying, unless you feel like being very upset for a at least a few days, as it is not any of that.

If you LOVE when companies make sequals that sell out for money and dont stay true to the first game whatsoever, or if you love when compnaies make a shooter game and try their best to make it as close to call of duty as possible and then feed a bunch of bull to and fancy talk to their loyal fans in an attempt to get them to believe that its not like call of duty because of 2 original (usually worthless) features.. than yes this game is for you!!

if i were you, i'd be an individual, not listen to - or ask these people for advice, and make my own decisions, because i know who i am and i can think for myself..

a lot of people hate the game, a lot of people like it very much..

each person likes it and hates it for any various number of trivial and important reasons..

do research and acquire specific answers from reliable sources..

but i wouldnt ask these people for any sort of opinion, both sides are biased in one form or another..

if you call it how they see it, thats all you'll ever get out of the game..

Crytek always release patches to support their games. Heck, there was already one out for this game when i first installed it, after picking it up from a store on day one! I'm sure we'll get fixed MP and i HOPE we get DX11, or at the very very least, a high res. texture pack

Agreed, wait for further patches. I actually won't play it anymore for around 2 months, hopefully by then they fix the bugs (multiplayer).

for a console game, yes
but a pc one?

Quick breakdown for you.

1. This does not play like Crysis or Warhead which were sandbox games. This game is more linear like Call of Duty.

2. Even on Extreme setting for graphics, the pc version is lacking in texture quality and certain affects terribly, HOWEVER, this is still a pretty game as the lighting affects, streamline of the framerate, and other differences in graphic design make this game its own artistic achievement when compared to the first. This will only get better if they upgrade the graphics with a patch.

3. Soldier AI is not as good as Crysis for some reason, but its still fun. This needs to be patched badly in my opinion. They still will come after you hard, but a lot of times you can shoot someone another solder 7 feet away will keep repeating "It must have been a false alarm".

4. This game is a lot more action oriented than the first as in its a lot more faster paced and explosive, which makes it stand out on its own.

5. The graphics, story, and pace pick up later in the game, due to story twists, and alien encounters, and definately are worth the price of admission.

6. I've only played multiplayer twice, but when I did it was really AWESOME. I didn't run into any cheaters and only had problems with my code key once.

7. Look at this game as a "new" type of Crysis game and not as in similar to the first and you will enjoy it, IMO.

I know pretty much of that because I have already beat the game on regular and yes AI is not the best.
But I don't know much for MP. My friend had buy it and says that there aren't much hackers.

Buy a system for BF3, but crysis 2 is a good game.

Not worth $60 thats for sure. Heck I paid $50 and its not worth it-- half the game is unplayable, the other half has a game stopping bug (or 2). Wait 2 months, see if they fix it, and hopefully you can also get a deal.
