Worth Playing Yet?

So I have a simple question that may bring very different responses from people but I am genuinely debating; considering what I have heard about game breaking bugs with a certain quest/settlement and goodness knows what else, is it worth trying to play seriously yet?

This is specifically directed towards Xbox One players. I have limited time these days to play games because of work and prepping for a serious jump in education and I just don't want to spend hours and hours playing a game only to end up unable to move forward because of technical issues. With Skyrim I did not end up playing it for a few months after it came out because of all the issues, plus some of the patches basically required us to start completely over.

So in your opinion, is it really bad? Completely fine? Somewhere in between?

I, personally, have experienced zero bugs. Besides the occasional npc falling from the sky, minor loot unable to be obtained, etc the game is put together quite well. It's also all understandable with the massive amounts of content that's readily available after a 20 seconds loading screen really.

It seems to be different for everyone. I'm playing on X1 and it's the only game I've been playing since it released. Besides this little, annoying issue with hand placed items disappearing in my base, I've had the game crash once. That's it. Part of me attributes that to a rather lengthy gaming session when I probably should've given the console a break.

i have encounter some bugs on the Xbox One. but they could be caused by hardware issues like memory leakage. i play sometimes over five hours at a time. to correct that just save the game and turn off the console. that showed clear out the ram.

i have have bugs happen but reloading cleared them. less crashes than FO:NV.

In the 100+ hours I've played, and two characters levels 38 and 47, I've had some glitches and hard freezes (five, maybe six of them total) but nothing that broke any of my quests. Nothing a restart (either of the game or the console) didn't fix.

I'm on Xbox One.

Is the game worth buying: Yes

The DLC hasn't come out yet, there are a few door bugs and pathfinding issues with the AI that can break certain quests or at least make the game boring.

The game has lots of content that's worth checking out like base building, and weapon modifications, the combat system was also really really improved.

The game is really fun to play as is, but there will be more content and fixes in the future if you want a more polished product. Though the game isn't going to have game breaking bugs, 2 quests out of like 200 might be impossible to finish though

I believe I have about 40 hours on the Xbox 1 version and am on my 5th character since I love restarting the game. I have not had any major issues.

But if you do have limited play time and not wanting risk a character then I think it might be best to wait until the DLC's are out and maybe seeing what mods are available (hopefully an Unofficial Patch)
