Being female I approach this subject from the opposite direction. One of the attractions to playing a fantasy game, for me, is being able to live an alternate life. I'm long past the age where I could consider myself a babe. So I often dress my female Dragonborns in ways I couldn't get away with any longer. I am vicariously the babe I no longer am in real life when I play a fantasy game.

So I put several of my characters in skimpy clothes. I like doing it. It's very satisfying to me. Wearing "chainmail bikinis" allows me to recapture, for an hour or two, a bit of my youth in the safe environment of a fantasy universe.
