You just ruined the plot by revealing too much. That's part of the fun of adventure RPs: those who RP in it don't know what will happen next. The "army of ten" RP I joined is a good example of an adventure RP done right. A rich background but not too much revealed. Too bad it died because no-one posted in it before we left the first town... But it had a lot of potential.
Ahem but back to this topic: You need to come up with a story format of this to begin with, instead of just event format like you have it. Even then, we have quite many RPs active right now. I'm 99% sure no-one will join it, because everyone is already busy in 1 to 3 different RPs.
