Would Bethesda Make a Fallout 4?

Post » Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:42 am

Ive heard some pvssyr that bethesda plans "not to stop at fallout 3".
One can only wonder what this means. Either more DLCs or a fallout 4 in the future.

Search this.

Point Look.

What if it has a disease?

What kind?

Usually you just mate it with another type of cow. Sometimes good things happen, sometimes bad. (Fallout: Brotherhood of steel)

What if it has a disease?

A mix of Madcow disease and the Swine flu is the only thing that would stop them now....

This is great...

But if TES V is (naturally) planned prior to FO4... TES V unless I'm mistaken will be released in 2010... so we can't expect FO4 before 2011-2012...

And if you google 2012 - it says that the world (the real one) will end that year.... :D so it's doubtful whether we get a chance to play it...

Wait. So Bethesda isn't making New Vegas. I hope this doesn't ruin the game when it comes out.

To tell you the truth, I'm really excited about New Vegas especially because Obsidian is making it.

well im guessing that obsidian will use the same engines and what not that gamesas did, theyre just turnkeying it cause theyve got two games in the pipes right now that are official, rogue, and wet... im guessing they just simply dont ahve the badwitdth at their studios.

but original fallout devs are gonna be working on it. so it should be decent.

the physics were actually given accolades by places like popsci, which is a science publication..

but, im sure that the bugs that may have occoured with this build of fallout may be looked into by obsidian.

you know what didnt have realistic physics? mario bros. AND WE LIKED IT THAT WAY!

Bethesda definitely intends to make a Fallout 4 in the future. For all we know about it, see:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_FAQ

The "up to Fallout 6" thing is old and no longer applies to the current situation. Bethesda initially licensed the rights to only 3 Fallout games from Interplay, but has since then purchased full rights to the Fallout franchise, so they can make any Fallout games they want.

Ive heard some pvssyr that bethesda plans "not to stop at fallout 3".
One can only wonder what this means. Either more DLCs or a fallout 4 in the future.

It also means Fallout: New Vegas, which is currently in development at Obsidian Entertainment. See:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_FAQ

I haven't been excited about a Fallout game as much as about New Vegas since Van Buren was canceled. I'm very happy that Bethesda isn't making New Vegas, and instead outsourced it to some of the original FO1 and FO2 developers at Obsidian.

I agree. Bethesda should focus on Elder Scrolls and outsource Fallout 4 to Obsidian.

i actually think the next fallout should be on a different character in chicago. it would be cool to see navy pier, sears tower (no willis tower, or whatever) john hancock buildin and stuff in ruins. they have plenty of museums in chicago anyways. they should make it in chicago!

Last I heard the world was supposed to end in 2000, 2001, 2007, 2009...how about 40,000BCE-40,000AD it might end then too.

Oh, and yes TESV is already in development, but as Fallout 3 was in development while Oblivion was being published I would have to say Fallout 4 is in the design stages...but it will 4 years after Fallout 3 till its released.

Fallout Tactics is set around Chicago, but the city itself was pretty much completely destroyed.
