Would a Bosmer in Skyrim make fire with wood?

Working on a Bosmer character in Skyrim, I was wondering: would a Bosmer in Skyrim, who was exiled from Valenwood but grew up in Valenwood, be likely to collect dead wood and make fires with it?

1) Skyrim is not Valenwood, so the ban on Valenwood plant use does not apply. But Bosmer would still be really bothered by using plants as fuel, wouldn't they?

2) Skyrim would be extremely cold for a Valenwood elf -- like someone from the Amazon moving to Norway. Without fire, they would freeze to death pretty quickly.

What do you all think?

There's plenty of Croatian laws and customs I don't agree with. :P That being said, it's forbidden in Valenwood, but it doesn't have to automatically mean your character personally cares that much about it. :)

When in Skyrim, do as the Nords do. Make a fire, drink some mead and molest the sheep. OK, kidding about the last one.

It all depends on how much the Bosmer wanted to adhere to the ways that he was brought up with. Being that he was kicked out of Valenwood, he could go one of two ways: Attempt to follow the rules exactly so as to gain favor and re-admittance, or, go completely against those who turned on him and kicked him out.

In ESO, the Bosmer do not always follow the rules that they are expected to, so there is a precedence.

Bosmer actually living in Valenwood have no issues with using wood. They simply buy it from other people/places. Furniture, weapons, whatever they need they make, just not with wood from Valenwood.
