Mutated gorillas. Can you imagine what a mutated silverback gorilla would be like? An already 900 pound musclebound beast of a creature, mutated by radiation, it'd be terrifying.

Or what if it somehow gets exposed to FEV and because humans and gorillas are somewhat closely related, the FEV works on it and makes a supermutant gorilla but unlike most humans, the FEV doesn't make gorillas dumber, it makes most of them smarter and you end up with this giant, bald, 2000 pound behemoth sized gorilla that can speak and is as smart as a normal human, maybe a little smarter. It's used its size and strength to take control of a group of supermutants and they all fear it just like a normal human fears a supermutant.

No, we shall call it Frederick, and we shall discuss philosophy, ancient literature and dead languages with it. Because when an enhanced intelligence, super-pumped-up gorilla wants to discuss philosophy, you damn well get philosophical!

Or die trying .

New Vegas was supposed to have a Wild Wasteland random encounter with a giant Gecko. Too bad it was cut out. (Mods can add it back).

"Oh no! It's Godzilla!"
"No. Due to international copyright laws, it isn't."
"Still, we should run like it is Godzilla!"
"Though it isn't."

Not going to be in Fallout 4. If you would like to discuss it though, use this link:

MMM, my (wish) is more a hear than see, but seeing would be neat as well.

Sorta of a nod to Mamma Dolce's..

A broadcasting underground (not literally i mean Pirate heh) red Radio station (think Tokyo rose , Hanoi Hanna) still putting out propaganda, and anti US sentiment, hell maybe some truth warning about internment, and creepy experiments being done, and urging the people to rise up, along with music.

I just felt the Remnants (Chinese) got a tad short changed in 3, but thought they were actually a clever addition. Be wonderful methinks for the SS who was around during the pre bomb broadcasts from what we think, could wade through a ton of ferals and either convince Shanghai Sue (a still together ghoul) the war is over, and no one won, or end the broadcasts with a bit of lead, Maybe even boost her signal like we did for ole three dogs why not. What ever floats you boat.

heh

(plus those Hats looked cool so i wanna find a few more)

I would like for there to be a community of descendants of Chinese infiltrators somewhere just surviving like everyone else. I think it would be interesting to see their side of things ( slightly distorted trough time of course).

This would be great too. Mainly because I could get the Hat.

Oh the irony if one of the Internment camps happened to be one of the safer places to be, and a colony of decedents still call the area home....

man I wish i could mod, and type, and spell mmmm lots of wishes

Is that you Jack?? ( a little iffy on the remake myself we will see, err Big trouble little china for non precogs)

When some wild eyed eight foot tall maniac, grabs yer neck taps your favorite head up against the barroom wall and then looks you crooked in the eye and asks if you've paid yer dues?? Well you stare the big svcker right back in the eye and remember what ole Jack Burton says at times that.

" Have you paid your dues Jack?"

"Yes sir, the check is in the mail."

Did you say "remake" and "Big Trouble in Little China" within the same sentence? I'm incredulous about the idea, as if anybody but Kurt Russel can ever pull off the Jack Burton gig.

A post-apocalyptic Chinatown in Fallout 4 sounds really neat though.

I too thought of something like an internment camp, given parallels to the post WW 2, and anti communists sentiments of the 50s and 60s, I didn't remember if there were such camps for Chinese citizens in Fallout lore.

I Would think if the internees stayed together they might gather in a different and remote location to avoid reprisals from fellow survivors of a recent holocaust who maybe very vengeful.

But maybe these camps would be located in remote locations in the first place.

Would it have to be an evil adversary to kill , or would you have the option with proper speech skills be able to work with it/them, and their followers to at least co exist and trade?

As in the real world we've had the co-exist with rival super powers. Maybe fight proxy wars, but not necessarily go to all out war with each other. Maybe they might not be a threat.

I'm thinking as a survivor of the old world as opposed to someone who's known nothing but post apocalypse survival.

I would be more motivated to restore as much of the world I'd lost, than someone who could only try to imagine, when they had free time for day dreaming, and little skills or understanding of much of the wreckage they were looking at much, less how to begin to fix it.

I am the worst lore hound, my memory is shot plus given my slim grasp on reality Sometimes what I think happened aint really how it went down, Its how I thought it happened. Also years of listening to various game masters of different sorts filling my head with nonsense I mix adventures. heheh

But there are quite a few references in 3 (asides the wandering sleeper ghoul remnant soldiers) there was a truck load of skeletons destined for a camp with a note, And that fellow who lived in 10 penny tower, And Mama dolces spy operation, And a strange Chinese broadcast you could pick up near that brotherhood hangout if you stood in the right place... in the base game. Point lookout DLC gave an actual old world spy trackdown, a Camp and a infiltrator sub and lots of notes along the way good stuff. New Vegas gave there own nod in there old world blues dlc with little yangzee I think it was called.

A real lore hound might know more But I think 3 was the first to introduce them. (ANd what a great concept guess thats why they make big bucks) I could be dead wrong there was a china town sorta in 2 but I can not remember its lore at all hehe not off the top of my head, and many Canadian occupation references through the series.
