I would've liked Werebears and Wereboars

Post » Sat Mar 16, 2013 5:22 pm

Werebear should've been added.

It could've been a more tank-ish and more offensive transformation than Werewolves but not as agile.

Wereboars too. Because boars are tough...

Wereboars could've probably had tusk attacks and things like that.

As did many other people. But if they didn't include it in DB they most likely won't ever introduce it. Maybe in TES VI.

I dont know, to have werepandas, I mean werebears is too much redundant.
You have werewolves, and vampires, so, why someone would like to be a werebear.
Perhaps I dont get the mystic of it.

Well, Werebears and Wereboars were in the other games so...

I'd also like to see a Minotaur transformation or enemy in the game.

If it means anything, you could be a werewolf or a wereboar in Daggerfall. Wasn't much difference other than what your character looked like and the sounds he made while attacking, but it was enough that it felt like a difference.

I think Bethesda originally wanted to do away with player were-creatures, which is why Morrowind originally didn't have them. I call that developer laziness. There was so much demand, though, that they caved in and added werewolves with Bloodmoon. The very name of the expansion was obvious enough- "We finally did it, okay?"

Makes me wonder, though. I wonder if we could tip the scales again if we started demanding to have our old spells back like teleport, levitate and all that. If we had some kind of recall spell again, they wouldn't have to go out of their way to design all these exits out of boss rooms like they did with Skyrim. As good as Skyrim is, it sure wouldn't hurt it to have some kind of recall spell.

Wereboars would work if they make an expansion into High Rock

About Werebears: introducing Playable Werebears and Werebear Perktree in the next DLC is something that could really happen(see: Dawnguard).

People saying "the content of 1 DLC cannot interact with the content of 2 DLC" forget about Kaarstag(DB) and his kin(DG) and possibly other examples.

About Wereboars and other Man-beasts: we need a location first.

The only problem as others have stated, is that Wereboars are native to High Rock.

Edit: That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see them though :D .

Glowing armor that suspeciously looks like modified Daedric does not a transformation into a dragon make.

High Rock makes the perfect setting for a Skyrim expansion. That or a TESA (The Elder Scrolls Adventure) based on the engine, graphics and system of Skyrim.

The wildlife and and nature of High Rock is basically the same as Skyrim so it wold require less programming as much can be copy and pasted. It adds magic to Skyrim which is obvious more warrior based due to Nord society and lore.

The province is about half the size of Skyrim so it makes an adeal map size for an expansion or TESA that uses Skyrim's scaling. High Rock has already had TES II: Daggerfall (which was a city and not the entire province) so it won't be featuring in any game in the series anytime soon (I hope they don't put into a game in Hammerfell as I'd rather somewhere like Thras or Yokuda if they venture out), The province is too much like Skyrim so again i can't see anyone wanting to return there anytime soon. A game off the back of Skyrim considering the Nords were the first to input into High Rock's independence from the Aldmer all those many centuries back would be good. They could even unite with Skyrim in a civil war.

werelions = Elsweyr
werevulture = Valenwood
werecrocs = Black Marsh
weresharks = No idea. I've just searched that it maybe just a rumour and may be a shark like creature out in the sea I think off coast of Hammerfell. Maybe Summerset isles even

Didn't realise there were so many!

I think seeing wereboars would be very, very amusing though.

werebears = Skyrim

werewolves = Skyrim
Werebears = Solstheim (though werewolves are also present). Solsthiem is a land connected to Hircine (Hircine's hunt)

I wonder why they even had Werewolves in this game instead of Werebears.

Bears seem to fit Skyrim much better than wolves.

- Harsh cold environment

- Tough people

- Tons of bears everywhere
