I would LOVE to own the game's OST on vinyl.

Does anyone know if there are any plans for a physical (preferably vinyl) release? I wouldn't think so, with the game being so far away from release, however I am a huge fan of Jeremy Soule, especially his work with The Elder Scrolls, and would love to see this happen. If it isn't planned, I think it's something that definitely should be. Anyone else?

Someone asked Pete on twitter earlier today " Marketing! If the CE verson of TESV doesn't have the sound track with it..." And Pete replied "I agree!"

Take that for what you will but I do believe we will see a soundtrack release.

I will most definitely be purchasing the Collector's Edition regardless, but I prefer vinyl as a physical format. Perhaps I can ask on twitter.

I don't see what vinyl has to do with Skyrim though. What I mean is I don't see any reason they would release it on vinyl, seeing is it's not the most current form of physical music media.

I don't think they will relase it on vinyl, but we will see. I do hope they will release Skyrim soundtrack before the game is released. If I remember correctly they released digital version of Oblivion soundtrack, which I bought, before the game was released.

I'd rather they release it on http://vivoscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/eight-track_dolby_sm1.jpg, or maybe a nice http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3568/3689377896_53da0212de_o.jpg edition. :)

It would be a cool thing to have, but I couldn't play it.

With a nice big clunk! in the main theme as the cartridge changes tracks ( I used to have an 8 track copy of Pink Floyd Meddle that did this in the middle of Echoes, no it doesn't add to the experience, and neither do scratches and crackle on vinyl ).

Considering the fact that music was more than likely mixed digitally there would be no point in vinyl.

I would be pleased if I had the game's soundtrack in a cd...

But if you really want it on a vinyl disc, then wait for the soundtrack cd to come out,buy it,and then take it at a vinyl producer and ask him to make you one copy of vinyl with the songs of the cd.
Here it costs around 40 euros for each copy, and if you are not going to use it for profit then I don't think you are going to have legal trouble.
