Would this be a feasible playthrough?

My friend on PC had a mod which made enemy hits and his own do more damage, making fights shorter and more dangerous (I'm simplifying a lot but you get the gist). I liked the idea of more intense and realistic fights. Now, until I get a better PC I'm still on Xbox, which I don't mind I mean I've played Skyrim on Xbox since launch and still enjoy it.

But, I digress. I wanted to somewhat emulate his game, and I had the idea to use the fortify Restoration glitch to super-up some of my weapons and armour, making me one-hit most enemies. Mixing this with legendary difficult, I think I could successfully replicate the results, being able to have the shorter, more intense battles with a lot more of a challenge and (if it works) a more immersive experience.

I'm away from my Xbox for a couple of hours so I was wondering if anyone's tried this and if it works, and if there's any more tips anyone could give me it'd be appreciated.

:thanks:

I've never used the resto glitch, so I cannot comment on that, but I have heard other users achieving similar results to what you are describing by playing on novice and never putting a single point into health and/or not investing any perks into armor. I have not tried that yet, although I have been experimenting with something similar playing on apprentice with very limited points put into health and no armor perks.

How does it work for you Turija? Does it seem like an even fight most of the time?

I have not been playing that way all that long and I have not gone full novice/no health level ups. I have had a couple of characters who played on either apprentice or adept and put limited health level-ups with no armor perks and low quality armor (fur, mostly with some steel). It works well for me, with challenging fights against tougher creatures but without combat lasting too long or having to whittle away a big wall of health. But the amount of combat challenge needed varies with the twitch skills of each player.
