Out of all the games they are announcing to come over to the new console alot of which are being remastered by leaps and bounds halo 2, metro games to name a couple why wouldn't you do this for skyrim you could simply port it over enhance graphics and add a couple of small things never before in the game and i bet it would sell like crazy. I am sure they are working on the next game but there is still nothing like skyrim out there so am i just giving to much credit to skyrim and presuming to much by saying that skyrim would sell like crazy on New Gen

I probably would. But as stated dozens of times in the past (like earlier today...) not going to happen.

Since I've got Skyrim on PC I wouldn't buy it again.

Bethesda shouldn't take the opportunity to do a final bug fix patch first ?

We don't have to worry about buying Skyrim for the next gen console.

*head desk* Skyrim is NEVER going to be touched by Bethesda EVER AGAIN. IT IS DONE, OVER WITH! They have stated outright that skyrim is done. Why do people have some strange idea that they are all of a sudden going to redo a game when they have NEVER done so before and have never said anything of the sort?

I love seeing this thread every other day. I guess there must be no real answer or a major director at the studio providing categorical proof that it's not happening for the last 6 months. We'll just have to keep asking ourselves until it happens.

I would in a heart beat even if there was nothing new. Sadly though they don't do remakes, well I guess not 'sadly' since they focus on new content but yeah.

I have never owned a console or played on a console. And I never will own a console or play on a console. So, no. I would not buy Skyrim on a next-gen console.

nah i mean luckily for me most of the next gen ports are games i never played (tomb raider, last of us ect.) if i am going to play skyrim again ill probably buy it once i get a labtop or pc that can run it

No, I would view it as a cheap money grab. Like what the Last of Us remastered is, it's a cheap money grab tactic.

Yea, that made no sense...I mean Last of Us is a rather recent game. You know what! Let's remaster the remastered of a remastered Last of Us.

All a remastered Skyrim will have is a big higher graphics, no new content.

Oh god not another thread on this. All the facts are in the last few comments and within the other threads dedicated to the same thing. Bethesda is finished with Skyrim. They're not going to go back to it, this isn't some rumour that's been spread around by followers, They've actually announced it. The only way to get new content is through community modding, Otherwise you're just going to have to wait for the next installment in The Elder Scolls series like the rest of us console enthusiasts.

No, apart from the obvious fact of it won't ever happen, I also didn't like Skyrim and got rid of it. Will wait patiently for Fallout 4 or TES VI.

That's and easy choice for me, since i don't own (or plan to own) a next-gen console.
