Would you be disappointed if Daedric Armor wasn't in the gam

I will be disappointed if Daedric isn't included, but I will be even more disappointed if it starts appearing on lowly bandits once I reach a certain level.

Not really, because I kind of want new armor, not just the same ones. Of course, maybe put 2 sets of armor back, but add some new ones too.

There's no reason why you can't have both new armors and old ones in the same game, you know...

Yes, I would say it just wouldn't seem right for an Elder Scrolls game to be without Daedric armor. And it should be rare like in Morrowind, not found on common enemies like in Oblivion. I can't say I approved of how you could only get a full set in the game without expansions without killing an essential character, but that's easy to fix, just make sure all the pieces are in places where they can be found WITHOUT breaking the main quest, but still hard to find. The strongest non-artifact armor in the game is not supposed to be something you can find just anywhere.

No Daedric > too much Daedric

No one ever once said there should be too much of it, though.

I want three to six sets in the game, that's all. Some of them worn by the strongest NPCs in the game.

But new kinds of high tier armor would be fine for that, too.

I wouldn't be really disappointed without it.

I still think the Ordinator armor was the coolest out of any game I've ever played.

In all my playing of Oblivion and Morrowind I probably found 2, maybe 3 pieces of Daedric armor and I never wore any of it. Let's just say I'd be a little disappointed but it wouldn't be missed.

You never met a marauder in Oblivion after level 20, or went on the ultimate search in Morrowind to find all available pieces?
Then you'd better start playing again until TES V comes out!

Personally I was more for Medium Armor in Morrowind, so although I collected anything Daedric I only stored them for my "museum".
In OB, I had one char that wore full Daedric, but only because there was no better armour. If there will be a good alternative for Daedric, I wouldn't miss it.
But I doubt that it will not be in TES V. It's probably one of the first things the Devs were developing once they started on the game...

Never used deadric armor ... I only play good characters. So I wouldn't care much , but I would like if it was very rare. You have to find them deep in dungeons or find an expansive piece of it in some shop.

If you only play good characters, you do know you're missing like 50% of the whole game, right? And also, Daedric armour has nothing to do with evil people. It's just ebony forged with a Daedric soul bound to it. (or something along those lines.)

I would be disappointed if there's no Daedric armor and weapons. Preferably a few different styles and at least one light version and one heavy version.

But I'd really be really really really disappointed if it were as widely available as in Oblivion. Daedric is supposed to be rare.

I'd rather have no daedric armor than have it become a common item again.

I'm with the consensus here. I almost think it's a silly question, because of course it's going to be in the game. The real question is will it be a challenge to get.

Almost more importantly, to me at least, is will we go back to there being drawbacks to wearing it? In Morrowind, the stuff was so heavy that even a maxed-strength character had trouble carrying much of anything but his/her armor and weapons. In Oblivion, the skill perks made it so it was stupid not to wear it if you were a heavy armor wearer. The Morrowind way way much, much better.

Honestly, I've seen too much of it in Oblivion. One suit in Skyrim would be enough.

How can I put this... Yes. Yes I will be.

As long as there's only one full set in the whole game. And it's in pieces. And it's scattered all over the place. It would actually make a good quest I think, to find the complete set of Daedric armor.

I don't care about wearing it, etc. I don't use it on my characters from Oblivion or Morrowind. But having it be so rare and so... well cool, I'd want it in the game just to collect it and to show it off in my character's house.

I'd like to stress again how rare I want it to be...

I really hope Beth reads this thread.

Good job everyone. I think for the most part this fanbase has it's head on straight.

Daedric armor actually meant something in Morrowind. And if you're going to enchant it, you'd better enchant it right, because you aren't getting any more.
