I think it would add another dimension to the game which is always good. I think it would be cool myself.

I think it'd be good as long as you don't HAVE to be in romantically invloved with that person. I hate games that force romance on you.

I think it should be like Fable 2 where you can flirt with almost any NPC in the game and get married to them and start a family.

This female gamer says errrrrrr NO ... mostly because we always end up with the chumps or after thoughts of OMG we forgot the women kinda stuff ;)

If it could be as well done as say Baldur's Gate did for male characters .. then perhaps. But usually doesn't interest me.

Given a choice between romancing in a game and doing the dishes...I'll do the dishes.

Moira. No not the ghoul one.

Actually I always enjoyed abit of romance stuff in rpg. Like in Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights etc...

Getting to choose which girl/guy you wanna flirt with. Maybe even do quests to win their heart.
So if you are hitting on a evil girl/guy, you have to bring her some hearts from raiders or whatsoever.
Or venturing into some dangerous place to get a rare present for him/her.

My 2 caps haha.

You guys gotta stop taking the moderators avatar.

Sure, lol remember the kajhit from morrowind, she was the closest thing to a girl friend Bethesda ever made.
I wouldn't mind that crazy chick from Big Town,

The best game romance I ever have seen is Mass Effect's. So if they do do romances, I suggest try to make it similar to that. You have to build a friendship, bond, and eventually you romance. However this would take a lot of quality writing, and a lot of work.

I really don't think you could have a good romance in a game with no set story. The best romance I've seen in a game was during Final Fantasy IX, one of the best games I have ever played, and I don't think Fallout could achieve that given the gameplay and storyline style. All I ask is for some hint of a real six scene, like GTAIV, where you couldn't see anything but you could hear everything.

Well I wouldn't say you couldn't see anything. Rockstar was pushing it with just their act with a prosttute.

ANYWAY!! :P

I think romance in Fallout would have ruined it. Something suttle like with Bittercup was good enough for me even though I ended her and the other quick :gun:
