If there are quests to save people, male and female, from situations like capture, sure.

But the "damsel in distress" cliché of the helpless little woman (especially if taken by some sort of creature), then no.

I wouldn't mind a rescue mission for anyone of either gender but a damsel in distress thing would come off as either cliché or even sixist nowadays unless they did it in a way that poked fun at the cliché.
