Would you pay for a SDTV compatibility DLC pack?

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 6:51 pm

Assuming Bethesda can't (or won't) fix the SDTV issues with a patch, would you pay a couple dollars (maybe around 500 MS points?) for a proper compatibility DLC pack?

The question is for those without HDTV's.

No point not to get a HDTV bud, you can get a 32'' 1080P for like 250 or less now.

No, never. I have an HDTV, and any of my friends' houses I might play Skyrim at do too.

Don't give them ideas. Really. Also, HDTV's aren't that expensive anymore. Really. Technology moves up. I barely seen any household which has SDTV's anymore.

Let me rephrase.
I would not, because I already have an HDTV.

Seriosuly, fork out the $200 and get a HD tv. they are so cheap now and it'll make all your games much better. I can't believe you still have an SD tv, where do you live? Rwanda? xD

Yes, any time. Those of you with a HDTV or play on a 1080p monitor have no idea how truly annoying it is, I can't tell you the amount of times I've gotten annoyed at running out of lock picks because I couldn't see how many I had left.

I don't have the game on console; nor do I have an HDTV.

However, presented with this question, assuming I did have a console and was having some issues with it because of my SDTV, NO. I would NOT pay for something that is BROKEN.

That is like paying for a patch to stop the game from crashing after hitting "New Game."

Guys, has the thought ever occured to any of you, that this person, may not have the money to spend on a HD T.V. or that this person may be of a certain age, let's say 15-16 and below, and their parents might no see the point in forking out on a H.D. T.V. so they can enjoy the proper detail of the game, this person may be either of the above and thus is asking for a compatibility pack so he can still enjoy some detail and play the game, like for instance I have a 46" Sony Bravia LX903 3D so i'm fine, but when I go to my friends house, he has an S.D.T.V. and I can't read the writing on things because it's so blurry, so take some things into consideration aye. Personaly no I would not buy the pack, but i'd vote for one to be made for people like this!!

If he can afford a 360 / PS3... Then why can't he afford a new TV? It was just a typical answer.

Which is about three months worth of food, if not more.
Hey, I have an idea.
Since its 'only' 250 or less, how about you buy one for me?

Ill be grateful and give you such a sweet look, Bambi would be proud.

On the poll:
Pay extra to fix something that shouldnt have been broken in the first place?
Thats like buying a toaster oven that doesnt work, and the store expecting you to pay for the repair, when it was faulty from the get-go due to circumstances beyond my control.
Not on your life.

Art imitates life. In Skyrim, everyone has piles of gold lying around, so it must be true of people in the real world!
