Only if they make the NPCs more lifelike.

A better poll question would be...
"How many people payed $60 for the regular game or $120 for the special edition?"
And
"How many people would've bought the special edition or any edition for like $80?"
Or
"How many people got screwed over from being in other countries and having to pay $100+ just for the regular game?"

Whatever is answered is sad.

The new generation of svckers would pay more than 60.00 for a game that isn't even playable, buggy, and want to believe the "games complexity" is the reason to "allow" so many bugs at launch day and several weeks therafter. Maybe even months. You people and I am sure most of you are kids, are too easy to mislead into hearing a official response and believing that given reason to why a game is released with so many problems. I would only pay 60.00 if the game is complete, not unfinished, broken questlines, etc. This new generation is far to tolerant and accepts anything without any forethought.

If they released the CK or Construction Set ON release day, that would be a sale, as I would have more faith in the community game fixes and in game material to be fixed along with so many amazing goodies the talented modders provide.

Sorry but before I would pay more for a (bugged) game, the developers should to their homework. And I dont pay more just to be sure to have less bugs ;)

Can't tell if serious...............

The guy asks people if they would pay more than $60 for a game in an official video game forum, where the game - makers can see every post. Some of those people that were asked the question responded with "I would pay whatever they asked". And you cant tell if I'm serious? Bethesda comes on here, sees that some idiots are willing to pay more than 60 bucks for their games, what do you think game producers are gonna think?

I'd pay more...up to $120 NZD would be my max.

That's about 4-5 new release DVD's here and I don't get hundreds of hours of fun from them, unless it's a Ben Affleck film.

I'm more than happy paying for quality product that gives me so much game time and as such I have no issues supporting the developer. If I don't these games would'nt be made in the first place.

If the next Elder Scrolls, by some random act of god, managed to be well tested, and used more formulas that were tried-and-true from Morrowind, then I might consider it. But after playing three 3 Bethesda games on PS3, I am not overly considering it.

I'm not paying for anything done by Bethesda anymore until it comes out and is confirmed not to be streamlined.

Yes, obivously 60$ is a lot of money, but yes, I would gladly pay more for a game of this caliber. Paying 60$ for a game that I run thru in 2 evenings however is not worth the money imo. A dvd is like what, 20-30$ ?, a movie ticket is like 17$ so yeah comparably games are extremely cheap if they have the content to back it up. That is fact, not opinion.

We just have the game for console here in brazil...
So I had to buy an imported PC version, it was ... converting to dollars it would be almost 100$
Yeah, It could be easier if I used Steam, but I don't like buying games without their boxes... how in oblivion I will play them after 2012 destroy the internet?
