Would you prefer a new music score or Oblivion's soundtrack?

Personally I would love if they just kept Oblivion's music score. It was amazing, and I think we all need that nostalgia while playing Skyrim to remind us that it is still Tamriel

No new music? That sounds horrible! No offense but Skyrim should have its music fit the feeling of Skyrim, not Oblivion. Plus After 4 years of playing Oblivion, I don't really want to spend another 5 years hearing the same music.

I like Oblivion's music, but that would be an AWFUL idea. Between playing the game 400 hours and having the soundtrack on my MP3 player, I'm tired of oblivion's music. We won't need any reminding we're in Tamriel.. it's important that the music is different so that we have more to tell that we're not still in cyrodiil.

I did love Oblivion's soundtrack but I don't think it would fit the theme of Skyrim.
Oblivion's soundtrack was a more "Medieval Europe" feel and Skyrim doesn't really have that feel, from what I've seen and heard from it anyway.
Plus, it's always nice to hear fresh new material from Jeremy Soule.

I have never played Morrowind, but I'd love to have the main theme from that when exploring in addition to a lot more new music. I don't want an overall rehash of past game scores though. So far, I love the new tracks we've heard from Skyrim, and I really like the overall tone they seem to be going for with this one here.

As much like this as possible please, in the atmospheric sense.

I love Oblivion's music, but I definitely want new music. Skyrim should be going for a different feel, hence it needs different music. Plus, I like new things and surprises. Finally, I respect Jeremy Soule for his work and want him to continue to get paid to do it (good video game composers deserve more money to continue a good job, not less so they could potentially be a bit short on work).

I love Oblivion's music but I'm ready for a new score that fits Skyrim and will be forever associated with it. :)

Been there, listened to that for hundreds of hours. New game, new music. No-brainer.

As much as I loved Oblivion's soundtrack, I've heard every track more times than I wish to remember. Definitely looking forward to new tracks by the great Jeremy Soule. :)

Was Oblivion's soundtrack different from Morrowind's? What I mean by that is, in each game, the main theme gets reinterpreted. Is that a trend with all the music in the games so far, or do they always introduce a new score overall (except the main theme of course which keeps getting reinterpreted)?

Seeing as how all the event of the previous games have led to the prophecy of Aludin returning becoming reality in Skyrim I think that there should be some parts of previous scores returning to tie the story together into one however I do think most of the score should be new

Jeremy Soule is a very good compser although Hans Zimmer or Thomas J Bergersen would also have been good choices

Why would you not want new music? This is a new game with a new theme, and atmosphere. Why would it not have new music?

Have you heard the Skyrim soundtrack yet? After you do, if you still prefer Oblivion′s, you can mod it or ask someone to mod it for you...
I personally agree that with a new setting, fresh new music is essencial.

New score. There was nothign WRONG with Oblivions score, it was just a bit placid and I expect something a bit more brutal for Skyrim.
