Would you rather have Skyrim on 11/11/11 or wait another 6 m

Bah, I don't need to learn any "lessons". I never buy a game immediately after it is released. It's too darn expensive then. Still haven't bought New Vegas, despite wanting it extremely much.

you can play Oblivion or other TES games. Also there is not only TES games around there.. :whisper:
Its not that kind of game in what u just can "ololo I'm playing in that COOL tiny fash-game and I want next part as fast as possible!!!!11111"

Sigh... when I said nothing I didn't mean LITERALLY nothing. I meant no Skyrim.

So you're saying that if it is released on 11/11/11 with a few little remaining bugs and they're going to release a patch a few months later you're really going to wait those few extra months? Because that's what you're saying if you want it to be released later. It's not like they'll be releasing a beta version. At worst, it'd be finished with a few minor bugs. And that I think I could easily deal with while I wait.

I rather have them delay the game than release it buggy, but I don't think they have much option when the factories are ready to start pressing the game and Take2s lawyers are breathing down their necks.

I don't go with user review hypes. Good or bad. Fallout New Vegas was buggy but it wasn't unplayable buggy like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series games, yet that's most user reviews blew it out of proportion. The wording on the poll is also rather biased.

I'm going to pre-order it and play it from day one.

I want skyrim as soon as possible, most things can be fixed with a patch or two.

Who the [censored] cares about what anybody else thinks? I make it a genrall rule not to take advice from people who spend their time on nothing more productive than reviewing games for a website, exept from Ben Croshaw. Mostly because he always point out everything thats wrong, so i know what i get.

I'd rather wait for a more polished game, having said that, I'm still buying it ASAP.

I dont think it will be released buggy this game has a huge amount of manpower working on it and it has been being worked on for 4 yrs now and is a finished product right now for all intents and purposes, they now have 10 months to finish putting the finishing touches to it so quit being so (the glass is half empty) pessimistic, if it is a touch buggy it wont bother me in the least, If I feel it is I will buy a newer copy later, but I never have or see all the problems that the rest of you spoiled brats seem to have,... why when I was a boy we played with sticks, (poking small dead animals and such )and were grateful for that small joy :)

I enjoyed MW, OB and FO3 just fine before patches, I see no reason to wait or "lesson" to be learned. People like to exaggerate. Then again, I managed to play and enjoy Sonic 06, so maybe I'm just not as bothered as some by glitches generally. Edit: Which is to say, I want it at release, no waiting for me.

11/11/11. I think the game will be good enough then. And they can always patch away the bugs.

If we have to wait 6 extra months for a patch or if they extend the release date and extra 6 months, I don't suppose there is much difference. However, there is a point at which a piece of art is as good as its going to get. Starting to over anolyze or over compensate for things can actually make a piece of art worse.
I take more of an issue when the company stops maintaining software only because it's not considered profitable anymore to maintain it past its life cycle, to a certain point. Of course there is not much point in still fixing bugs in Daggerfall, but I don't think there should have been any excuse for the vampire quest glitch not to be fixed on the PS3. I thought Oblivion was still fresh and new enough for BGS to fix the vampire quest glitch for PS3 owners.

Edit: Also thinking of the release date 11/11/11, I doubt BGS is going to want to delay the game into the new year since it's so close to the Holidays where a lot of games make most of their profite.
