Would you recommend TESO for pure PVE players?

Post » Sun Mar 09, 2014 3:31 pm

According to the last thing ive heard... somewhere ... the best resources in game are NOT going to be in Cyrodiil, they are going to be in the PvE 50+ and 50++ areas, which means the best materials are actually restricted to PvE.

Euphrosyne's post is not even worth a comment, most of it is made up stuff.

If you noticed in Cyrodiil you can mine Ebony ore.

Ebony ore is NOT the highest tier ore.

Oh to answer

For completionist kinds of stuff PVP would have its part on the list acomplishments.

There are many MMOs where everything inevitably leads up to PVP, I sincerely doubt this is one of them.

This never get talking about but, i as a mostly pvp player HAVE TO partake in pve to even be useful in pvp, however the reverse is not true. (You never hear me or other people complaining about this. But the very idea a mostly pve player may have to pvp they freak out like the world is coming to and end.)

So no you will not get the best gear from Cyrodiil.

For some reason that word always make me cringe. Its not from any fantasy lore - its from the Atlantis myth. What's it doing in Elder Scrolls? Or any other game for that matter :/

Anyway, it would only give orcish armor/weapons if I'm not mistaken which is middle grade. No idea what highest grade in ESO is. Do they have deadric armor/weapons?

There is Daedric armor and weaponry, you'll have to use a Daedric Heart to make it.

Orcish and Daedra are styles. So you can have Daedra armor made with iron (the lowest level metal) or with voidstone (the highest level) or with obsidian (the 2nd highest I think?)
Edit: And all the levels in between ofcourse as well.

So, If I undestand correctly there is a point in game (questing, skyshards, crafting, sellign stuff..etc), from where I have to be forced to go to pvp zone.

Then this game isn't for me.

Thank you for responses.

R.I.P Elder Scrolls - another great game ruined because of stupid pvp :(

Did you even read the replies?

The only thing that "forces" you to go to Cyrodiil is collecting skyshards, and that is not a big deal.

Goodbye anyway...

I would 100% recommend it to someone that hates PvP.

You can almost avoid it completely. The only times you could encounter it is if you do the PvE stuff in the PvP area but even then, you can join an empty PvP campaign as a guest hence should have a high chance of not being hassled by someone.
