Morrowind felt like art to me, beyond its gameplay and storyline, it felt like a work of art, the atmosphiric environments, a new detailed alien world for us to explore, creating a whole new world witheverything (even the hardship) realistic to make the player feel like they are actually exploring a world.
With Oblivion that feeling was gone for me, not that I'm saying Oblivion was a bad game, it was a very good one, it just didn't feel like a work of art to me. It seemed as though it was created mainly for money and action, rather then show actual belivable content. Things like fast travel, less customization and such were added to the game and made it more of a GAME than an actual WORLD.
It seems that Skyrim will also feel like a GAME, question is, will it find this balance between game and world, or will it fail in that aspect?
Do you percieve Skyrim as a work of art or as just a VERY GOOD GAME? Do you think it will feel more like a WORLD again?
