Would you still buy fallout 4 if they took out third person

The horror! How am I suppose to check out my female character from time to time?

I would be pleasantly surprised if they remove both 1st/3rd person and use the Fallout perspective instead.

I rarely use TP except for rare occasions of peeking around and to see my character time-to-time. FP is the only way to play and be immersed. I really don't understand why anyone would want to feel less immersed by playing a floating camera that isn't intimate with the player. I'm playing the character through my eyes. I feel like I'm watching and playing something else if it wasn't FP. I just don't see the point and I don't like opinions. :turned:

I wouldn't buy it if TP was removed, I don't play any games that force wobbly arm view on me.

This :)

I also like to view my character in-game by panning the camera.

I would still buy it but I would be disappointed. I primarily play in first person.

Why would you even suggest such a thing?! That would be terrible.

I'd still buy the game, but then I'd complain on the forum. A lot! With really big font, and frowny faces.

I wouldn't mind. I'd be sad i would be deprived of watching my characters fantastic BGS animations :D

I do like third person though, if only to take a peek at how my armor looks. But it's not a dealbreaker for me.

Slightly disappointed, but it wouldn't bother me. Though i do use 3p a lot without even realizing it sometimes. But for immersion nothing beats fp. I would be very upset if they removed fp.

Personally I prefer to play in 1st Person especially when running and gunning, but I also love to wander about the map in 3rd person to see the amazing views and landscapes better. It wouldn't be a deal breaker if it wasn't included but I would be a tad upset. Also if I can't see the armor and clothing in 1st person why would I care about anything but stats? I don't use Power Armor as it is a little cumbersome and so I wear what best suits my build and rp, but I also like to look good :P

I'd be irritated, as I mostly play in 3rd person.

Definitely. I actually prefer 3rd to 1st person, but 3rd gives me motion sickness, so I play exclusively in 1st.

As long as there was still a way to check out my character I wouldn't care much. I always play in FP anyway, but I would hate to see the option taken away from those that enjoy the game in third person view.

I would buy but I would also be pissed. I like to look at my character/gear while I'm running around

Screen shots is the biggest thing I would miss. I like pulling back to third person during a battle and toggling the free camera to get cool action shots to use as a desktop background and stuff.

Also it needs to stay for another reason. We have waited 7 years for this game and I do not want to read constant complaining about the lack of third person for 7 years, or worse, have Obsidian do a game in 3 years that has third person, and then even more complaining about how Obsidian does a better Fallout than Bethesda. So please, keep it!!

I doubt they would ever remove either view, since switching from first to third-person view has been a staple in Bethesda's RPG's forever, so it is kind of a moot discussion.

I primarily play in first person, especially for combat, but it is nice to occasionally switch out to third person while wandering the wastes, or to get a look at my character (and take screen-shots, as mentioned above). After spending a long time playing a Fallout or TES game, I miss that ability when playing a different FPS.

Are we so bored that we are now playing "What if they did a thing that is highly improbable?"

Well I guess it's either this or making improbable wishlists and demands to the developers for a game that's probably already exited Beta and on it's way to media and marketing production.

I can't think of any one feature whose presence or absence would mean I wouldn't buy the game without hearing what Bethesda had to say about it. I have my preferences, but I'm not going to dig in my heels before knowing what the trade-offs are and what Bethesda is trying to do with this particular game. Single issue voting always amazes me.

Wouldn't bother me a bit, I don't use third-person view in any event.
