ok bare with me.... the daedra create a nuclear bomb in an underground weapons facility and bring it to one of the 5 major cities. with enough experience in alchemy you can mash up a bunch fruits and vegetables together to neutralize the bomb threat....

Let me rephrase:

A daedric cult is attempting to conjure up an enormous destructive spell to destroy a large city. With enough experience in alchemy you can mash up a bunch fruits and vegetables together to create a poison. You will replace this poison with the potion the leader will drink before he does his part in the ritual. This will cause the leader to unintentionally cause the spell to be cast upon the cult's underground base, thus neutralizing the enemy into oblivion.

because for some reason people here really really like to make completely empty posts. you should know better than to expect discussion of a topic on a forum dedicated to that topic.

i thought the topic title was metaphorical, and you were going to outline a quest idea that was similar in basic concepts to the quest in Fallout 3 - pretty much just "choose between the salvation or the destruction of a small village and deal with the consequences accordingly". i must say i am disappointed in myself for not expecting this.

Yes. Nuclear Bombs that can be defused by a smoothie is crucial to Skyrim. If its not in, Skyrim is a no go for me.
