Would you want to exist in Skyrim?

Post » Mon Aug 22, 2011 12:23 pm

At my current state in life, I think I could become more successful in that type of universe. Obviously not as a fighter, God no not a fighter. I wouldn't last a year as a fighter. I would, however, learn the arts of restoration. When I finally became fairly skilled in the art of healing myself and others, I would open up a restaurant and blow the minds of the Skyrim citizens with all sorts of dishes they've never heard of. It would probably be a lot easier to find a wife and have kids too.

I would take the path of healing too. Creation before destruction. But Id also make myself as fit as I wanted on entering Skyrim, being able to choose physiology... it would then be up to me from there to maintain that state... so being a fighter would mean you would just have to exercise and learn to use a sword... not gain the strength and physical ability to be one since you'd already have that.

Well, I'm an engineer....

So I'd have to get a job.....

Other than that, sure. I'd go to Skyrim. But if I was offered a choice of Skyrim or Equestria, I'd pick the one where I'm least likely to die every day.

Could we have a portal between the two realms of existence...? Today's world is filled with so much hate, horror, poverty, that I may just take up the offer.... And, we'd be able to explore all of nirn, not just Skyrim, correct? :foodndrink:

yeah and i can't remember if vodka was in the game, but I couldn't live without vodka and weed too (not mentioning cigarettes)

But there is so many magic mushrooms in tamriel

and living without cheeseburgers and milkshake would be crap too

surely you could 'invent' cheeseburgers and milkshakes? while perhaps not in the game i'm sure tamriel has cows... somewhere!

I think i'd like to go on holiday there but i wouldn't want to live there...

and while having magical abilities would be awesome, imagine if you were asleep, dream about scary monsters and accidentally cast a flame spell in bed...

I think you could find a way back to this existence... hell, Alduin might banish you back... or if you found a way on your own before you were to die (and it might be too late and you'd have been made legally dead in this world, leaving Skyrim your only hope for a non-celebrity life).

How about "The Soaked Goat" - I read that on here somewhere and I just love the name.

I'm sure Mammoth milk is nutritious.

Yes, learn to sword fight, live a good villige life, go out hunting with a bow, learn how to cook the meat I kill. Yeah, sounds great.

But they'ed be like: Imperial: "Hey! What are you?!"

Me: Uhhh I uhh an American!

Imperial: "BY THE NINE DIVINES! WE GOT AN ALIEN AMONGST US!"

Kajiit: KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!

Me: Oh I see what that Kajiit did thar.

Tamriel is VERY dangerous place. A lot of big battles, thieves, assassins, dangerous wild animals, monsters, harsh wilderness, DRAGONS, etc. Seems like a fella could die pretty easily. I like being relatively safe in suburbia. I don't know what the hell I'd do if I saw a tribe of armed goblins, or a Minotaur was charging at me (holy sh** that would be scary).

And, not sure I'd want to live in the same place that the Dark Brotherhood is :bolt:

All you need to do is learn to cast Invisibility, Paralyze, and get familiar with restoration magic (Restore Health, Cure Disease/Poison, Remove Curse). You could easily paralyse an enemy and break its neck or cut its throat. And you could go invisible when threatened. And when hurt heal yourself.

Definitely. Real life svcks, and the worst thing that could happen in Skyrim is that I would die, which is a thing I'm not too afraid of.

Remember people: They have MAGIKA, we DON'T! We may some other form of magic energy that might not bond well with their spells.

On entering Nirn you would have magicka if you choose to develop it. Magicka, in Nirn, permeates all living things, even stunted magicka things.

I said yes, but now that I think about it it would be way too cold for me.

You enter Skyrim, but you don't have to stay there, you could go to Cyrodil or Blackmarsh or even Elsweyr. And you dont have to be a human, you could choose to be a Khajiit with fur... but once you enter Skyrim, there's no going back without divine intervention.

Sign me up for the ride!

It can be dangerous, but i got enough ideas to get around that. No pollution, and you know where your food comes from... Damn, sounds better every minute!

Hmmm, we might even meet at the "The Flask and Flagon". I've got a lot of recipes, and i like cooking... :D

No thanks. Learned the difference between reality and fantasy long ago. In real life I try to live in such a way that I hurt neither myself nor others. And if I want an adrenaline surge--there's always The Elder Scrolls.
