If they keep everything that made Morrowind a great ES game, but improving things like combat, voice acting, character models and graphics(possibly using the Creation engine) would you guys BUY it?
They don't really NEED to make Fallout 4...TES was always their baby and I hear that they had a license to only make 3 Fallout games. They've made FO3, Obsidian made F:NV so I guess that's 2 more, or 1 more if NV counts. I'm not saying that's fact, but I just hear it was a deal for 3 games...but it could be a wrong rumor and they actually own the entire series now and can make as many as they want.
In 2006-2009 they focused on BOTH Oblivion and Fallout 3, in terms of patches, expansions, dlc etc. Now they only have Skyrim to focus on and its bug fixes and eventual epic expansions. Could they not, in the mean time, also work on a Morrowind remake? With the same engine, and all they need to do is get some voice acting. Really, look at FO3. They released that in 4th quarter 2008, while Oblivion was finished in 4th quarter 2005 and pushed back to March 2006. It took them that long to write alot of the stuff for FO3, design its features, make the levels, voice acting, maps, dungeons, dlc, and it was a lot more complicated than Oblivion. Here all they need to do is use the creation engine and redo the textures and possibly redo things like sounds, maybe some new features. It probably wouldn't take them more than a year-year and a half? They don't need to add anything in.
What bugged me the most is the combat, and don't tell me to just play it on the pc with mods because that's not the point.
Do you think if enough of us TES fans demanded, that they would consider a Morrowind remake? Perhaps a large enough poll? LOL. I'll keep it simple.
If anything, they'd probably only do it if they knew it guaranteed some big bucks to help them out with idk..Fallout 4. So would you buy it if it was made quickly or something?
