Wounds that can't be treated by Restoration?

Hey

've been roleplaying a character for a long time, and i'm starting to feel the character is a little bit too untouchable. For a great deal of the 'story' i've been working on the character has healed any wounds with a moderate to powerful healing spell, as its only logical that great losses of 'HP' signify a nasty wound. It's pretty much set out in the games that healing isn't a problem if you can cast.

Thng is, at high-level, master of blade and block, with healing magic, battle just loses any sort of 'risk'. I can't think of a situation where the character might gain a nasty injury, life threatening, and actually have it be even a few days of tension to remind them that they are mortal. Even if silenced, that wears off. Out of mana isn't a problem because it regenerates within hours, and there are potions that also heal and restore magicka. Even if I 'meta-game' my characters way into these situations, she has companions who will heal her in a moment, and the nearest chapel is never far.

I was thinking perhaps an arrowhead stuck inside, making healing a bad idea.

However, I would appreciate any interesting thoughts or inventive ideas?

I've played a lot of melee warriors who didn't use magic at all. No spells, scrolls or potions or Alchemy. No enchanting weapons, armor or clothes and no pre-enchanted weapons, armor or clothes. No fast travel (which I view as a form of magic). No Welkynd Stones, Varla Stones or Sigil Stones. No Ayleid Wells. No Heaven Stones or Birthsign Stones. And, of course, no Mages Guild.

It makes for a very interesting game. ;)
