This topic wasn't created to make an adverts for any compeditor of crytek, just to share my opinion. (Anyway if crytek will fix crysis2, than they don't have to worry about their compeditors!)

So...

I was watching the new BF3 video on xbox live, I think forsbite 2 will bite cryengine 3. The video is great, full of action, and at the end, when the title is on the screen the sound just **** fantastic!!!

Btw I have seen the BF3 trailer and it looks amazing, but remember this is on PC. I think that Cryengine 3 looks better on the Xbox 360 than BF3 on the PC, the once BF3 is downgraded to be put on the console it will look worse. I'm not saying BF3 doesn't look great it does, but look at C2, breathtaking. You only need to go on Pier 17 to see.

Actually I still think believe cryengine3 is **** brilliant!!!! I just have a conversation now with my friend on xbox live, and I told him crysis has a most beautiful graphics ever. Brilliant and I'm glad we have this game, just crytek have to take care of and listen to us, if they want to win this match. so as the title says compeditor are here, so from this september the only question is: who will give a better customer care. In hope crytek will stay and develop more great games with this great engine.

One more thing, I agree with you on pier 17 but I think, SANCTUARY is the best ever, beautiful, amazing, just the only problem is if you playing TDM almost no chance to get that map, because after 3-4 match the lobby just gone(different reasons: host leave the game, enemy leave the game, or just without any reason lobby closed). why crysis does'nt have random map system? So YES this game(crysis2) is BREATHTAKING!!!! and yes crytek with crysis is the best(at the moment) in the graphics point of view.

Cryengine makes great looking games but bad working games.

Cryengine 3 is a magnificent master piece of a car but the car won't start and the brakes seize up all the time.

Yeah it'll be a close match lol but DICE have already gone on the record with making BF3 to dethrone CoD they arent worried much bout crysis.. but im not doggin crysis, its friggin beautifull.. best console game i've seen yet as far as graphics.. and remember they havnt even unlocked the full potential of frostbite 2 yet... super in depth article in a recent game informer about it lol in my honest opinion though, cryengine 3 wont hold a candle to frostbite 2.. but thats just me

After a few days off from crysis, tried to play again(started at approx: 8.15pm) with the hope, something has changed... but NOTHING. start with the PRO TDM on terminal, great match, and told my friend; "come back, I think its ok". He joined me. after the match, few people were disconnected, new match started and as usual the game changed the game mode from pro to normal TDM(WHY???) after that, lobby closed. new match started, "great" option(skyline-terminal again)... my friend said, "I think I'll go back to playing COD". and we did. I'm sad, he is disappointed. As he said graphics, is not everything. So thats the story, Its 9.07pm over and out.

at least the multiplayer will be better... gears of war 3 rules ftw!

Last night I tried again, because I thought it will be better after the patch. but its all the same, after a few match lobby was closed again.Start again(skyline-terminal)? no way!!! disc out. I think I'll have another, really the last try, if some new patch coming out. But that would be the last one and if its still the same, sadly but I'll selling it.
