Seriously Morrowind is SOO hardd.... I mean EVERY QUEST requires HARD lock picking. Being a warrior is a tough job.Seriously... I need really Help on starting up. Where should I go to raise my lock pick? I can't join the thieves guild because I did a quest in the fighter's guild to steal a codebook and i didn't know soo yeah...

You could try some of the Comonna Tong around Vvardenfell. This may require a bribe for training though.

The following will train your security to 47, and also have some basic tools for you to purchase:

Minasi Bavani. Nevrilla Areloth's House, Sadrith Mora.

Anas Ulven. Nadene Rotheran's Shack, Gnaar Mok.

Llemisa Marys. Fatleg's Drop Off, Hla Oad.

You could also make your own spell. Buy the basic Open spell from Ri'shajiir at Shenk's Shovel in Caldera. Go to any of the Mage's Guild halls and make your own level 100 open spell. Not sure what level your alteration would need to be to cast it though. So you would probably have to train this.

If you can't do something in Morrowind, the best solution is to train your skills. If you can't pick locks, I'd suggest checking with people who have the training service, and seeing who trains security. Though you can't join the Thieves Guild, I'm fairly certain trainers who don't require a guild rank will still offer training, and in any case, the ones who do require it generally would also need you to advance in rank several times before they'll offer their services, and of course, there's always trainers who aren't part of the guild. Alternately, you could train alteration instead, that way, you could use magic to unlock things, this will also give you access to other spells like shield, water breathing, and levitation. Of course, your alteration skill still needs to be high enough to cast the spell you want to use, and you'll also need magicka. Other than that, alteration has the disadvantage of not being able to disable traps.

In any case, I wouldn't recommend playing Morrowind without some level of skill in either alteration or security, since there's no way to bash locks open, you'll miss out on many nice things if you can't use either of those skills. Of course, some locks have keys but you can't always count on being able to find a key for every lock. So if you're not already decent in these skills, it's a good idea to train them, that costs some gold, of course, but it's the easiest way to raise skills that you're not good in. Also, when trying to pick locks, using a better lockpick can also make the task easier, though that's not much help if the lock is too complex even with the best lockpick available.

In the end, Morrowind can be a rather unforgiving game at low levels, as when you're skills aren't good, there really isn't a lot you can do. But once you get better, the game will become much easier.

Another way to open locks is to enchant an item with a 100-100 open spell (cost about 20k).

an open spell works just fine, if it is also trapped set the trap of with telekinesis, spell or potion does the trick.

Medila Indaren at the Caldera Mages Guild sells Fenrick's Doorjam, a spell that locks a door or container with a level 10 lock (and uses very little Magicka.)
A lvl 10 lock is very easy to open no matter what your Security skill is. Find a convenient door and lock it then pick the lock. Relock and pick the lock again and so on.
Also good for low level Open spell castting.
Since Fenricks Doorjam is an Alteration Spell you gain points in Alteration for casting it.
Choose your door for privacy because opening locked doors even one you locked yourself is a crime if you're caught.

Ya you need lots of money for an open enchant, you can get an enchant for telekinesis instead, visit the south guard tower and Dren's, ha ha, the mystical cheatah claims another victim.

I also vaguely recall some mod that allowed doors to be broken down if a player had high enough strength.

Which is actually a great idea btw. Obviously allows combaty players to do things.

Basically:
Combat -> Kill things -> Sell for profitsss -> Buy loads of lockpicks -> SPAM lockpicks = eventually open locks

My logic us undeniable ;)

Correct! I do enchant a ring to open 100 level locks when my char becomes a gazillionaire. It costs about 28k though.
