OP - Same happened to my today when I traded in this Joke at Game UK- they laughed their brains out at me for 'falling for it' - for some reason i got ￡30 for this heap of a joke. HAPPY DAYS!!!

wow. i wonder what the smart guy at my gamestop would have said.

the fact is,is that there aren't alot of games that come out flawlessly (except CoD,but its the same game each time so...duh) ,but I say hang in their and wait cause brink just needs a couple more patches and it will be flawless, heck I even think when they have the clan system up there will propably be a lobby system and yes Brink has its problem,but its the first of its kind and a major stepping stone in FPS history cause who knows maybe even games like CoD and BF will borrow (steal) the SMART system in future titles (but I bloody hope not)

CoD=flawless? i think you need to pick up some other FPS games there mate.
CoD=bad graphics+Glitchy game play+repetitious game play.
And that's offered with all their titles.
Besides; i just love being killed when im shot in the FOOT by a pistol.

Even Halo:Reach, the Halo game that was 'supposed' to be the 'worst' of the franchise, offers more than any CoD game.

To the OP: in the end, its just something you need to check out. Hire the game. Try to find someone, a friend, with XBL and have a go at it. You might like it.

Yep.

He's the only one.

I'm also the only one. And so's every other PS3 player without issues (we pretty much didn't get lag problems, and didn't get any of the 360's texture issues, while retaining the usual console immunity to graphics card compatibility trouble), and the thousands of players on PC - they're still getting over 3000 players online simultaneously, that doesn't sound like a dead game to me.

I'm on the 360 and I have had a 98% lag free experience from the go.

At least the employees were looking out for you. They obviously had seen enough people returning it unsatisfied to have some knowledge about what's wrong with Brink.
I just can't get into the game anymore. I won't be playing it until the balance patch and DLC is released on PC.
